Why were you banned or warned?

NLR

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Calling what I did NLR is not accurate. I died in a revolt to Serial Killer John and proceeded to continue on wanting people who were breaking the laws the mayor had in place. One of which was an anti weapons law, jwalking law, the usual strict laws.

Now I got confirmation from Smod Mav Mitchell that it was fine to want people even after dying in a revolt, because I am not actually fighting in the revolt. I also made a point to avoid the PD and not go in and mess with doors or anything to be sure I wasn't hindering the fight going on inside. What I was doing was wandering the public areas and doing /wanted on people I saw breaking the laws. One of these people happened to be serial killer john, and because he happened to be the person who killed me, I was warned for that being an NLR-able offence. Keep in mind, this was a couple minutes after I had died, and he was actively breaking a law in front of me, in an entirely different location from where he initially killed me. How can that be considered NLR? If I had immediately wanted him right after I died I would understand. But this was a completely different RP scenario. On top of this, he was not even the sole person I wanted. I did a lot of people before I saw him, and even more afterward (see screenshot below).

Who warned/banned you?

Lean

How long were you warned or banned for?

Warn

Here is a screenshot of the warns I did. I keep my reasoning short and to the point so you can tell mine by the "jw, wep.swep" reasonings.

Additionally, if really needed I can supply a video of everything I did post death to show I was going after anyone I saw breaking laws.

So he claims to not remember that john killed him during the revolt, and his reasoning for wanting him is for breaking the law which is of course ok to want people, but wanting the person who killed you a couple minutes later. Ill let other staff decide whether or not this is nlr. So put yourself in this situation you get killed during a revolt and you start running around wanting people breaking the law and you see the person who killed you and you want him for having a gun out. [16:35:28] Officer Special Educator wanted Serial Killer John (Boomer) for wep|[16:34:05] Player Serial Killer John (Boomer) killed Special Educator (Discord Mod) with weapon tfcss_sl8. so the exact time between the death is 1 minute and 23 seconds.

When you had said this, I originally thought you meant to the same person, so I told you no, then I had said "completely different then maybe" because I was not sure at the time, I asked Isaac, and he confirmed that you are not allowed to want people after dying in a revolt.

The sit was called for NLR, you died to Serial Killer then proceeded to use the /want command to get him arrested after you had died. The sit was not called about you using the /want command on other people.

I would like to state NLR would be if he arrested him for the reason that he killed him. It sounds like he was arrested to breaking a law which made a entirely diff rp situation. but i would like to see the vid to see for myself.

So lets say you were killed by a guy because you tried cuffing him, and you run outside of spawn and there he is on the beach kidnapping someone and you kill him. what would you call that. and a revolt was going on during this. so he died to him in the revolt saw him and wanted him reguardless the event that was goin on and the amount of time between each happening makes it nlr.

You are correct, I didn't know it was John that killed me to take me out of the revolt. I can't prove it obviously but when I died I looked at the fact a revolt had just started and moved on. Becauyse trust me, if I didn't see that revolt text in the chat box you all KNOW I would've been reporting immediately. Didn't care much about who exactly killed me once I confirmed it was a valid kill. I was on that death screen for at most 3 seconds before respawning, its not crazy to say I wouldn't have bothered processing who killed me.

Also, going to post the video here to show that 3 seconds, and also show where I was when I actually did warn John.

Why do you think when you die in a revolt you don’t have weapons??? You are just trying to find a way to loophole.. once you die in a revolt you need to wait until the revolt is over.

If that is true then so be it, and I won't /wanted people after dying in a revolt. I didn't know that and obviously even an Smod didn't know for sure either. But this is a case of calling what I did NLR, which is simply isn't. If anything lets swap this to a verbal for wanting mid revolt and move on.

It is during the revolt so in my eyes it's the same RP Scenario. You are not allowed to come back after dying and just start wanting people.

Special, you are insanely lucky that Serial Killer John had not called a sit on you for this entire thing, just his situation.

"But yeah no you gotta wait until revolt is over" - Isaac
