Raiding during a sit, Failrp, RDM in a sit Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I made a sit about a base building in front of the building area in sewers. Was brought to waterfall to explain why they cant build there, to prove that you cannot place props in specific areas. The staff member and 3-5 people in the base come out into the area where you cant build to call me all sorts of things for making a sit about their failbase over voice comms. At this point its been about 15 minutes in the sit and i figure my raid timer should be about up, take out an SBC and shoot. The sit shouldnt have been taken in front of or in someones base in the first place its a pretty standard situation ive dealt with as a raider and baser in waterfall. The original warn was a verbal for rdm changed to Raiding during a sit, Failrp, RDM in a sit. F___ explained to me before banning me that i was being banned because i was 2 minutes off NLR timer at the time of the raid, he has the logs to prove it and thats why hes waited a few days. No recording of the final sit because F___ went mute after i mentioned i should record. Who warned/banned you? F___ Posted June 19, 2023 Share Posted June 19, 2023 We have discussed what happened during this sit and the actions of Argobot amongst the higher ups and do agree he shouldn't have held the sit down there at the base and we will be dealing with that issues separately. That however doesn't change the fact that it was still a sit which you had called and yet you still decided to go ahead and shoot an sbc cannon into their base while they were discussing how it was a failbase and how they can fix it. After you had gone and shot the sbc cannon and killed 2 of them you started talking shit to them in OOC and said to Agrobot you knew you were still in a sit. Originally when I was informed about the situation from Agrobot he didn't tell me the full story and I misinterpreted what he said as if you had come from outside of the sit and raided so I told him to give you a verbal warning because even if he wasn't there they had no base up and it would have been no issues for you to raid them. The main reason this took so long is that Agrobot didn't export any of his logs before he logged off and Kdawg has been busy and was unable to send me the server logs but once I had received the logs and went through them I discussed it with Coconut & Terrry and we decided that 2 weeks would be appropriate for someone in your position that has been around long enough and should know better. Also the reason I went quite was because I was typing out the ban. Ironfish1 Posted June 19, 2023 Share Posted June 19, 2023 Hello Legs, I would like to start this off by saying I have been trying to wrap my head around why you thought it would be ok to raid a base two minutes before timer was actually up, while in a sit that you called, and then be nonchalant about it after the staff member that took your sit explained that you shouldn't have done that. Sure the Moderator in question could have handled it better, however, you called a sit for fail base and he went to go check out the base. For someone who has put 1,124 hours into this server it's just common sense at that point. You called a sit for fail base, the mod took the sit and was looking at said base, then you decide to kill the two people the mod is talking to while checking to see if it's a fail base. You even say in your appeal; "At this point its been about 15 minutes in the sit and i figure my raid timer should be about up...". You knew you were in a sit, what made you think it would be ok to sbc cannon two people? The last fact, this is an appeal, if you want to make a report on F feel free to do so. Putting "Also very sus this guy unbans mass RDA and cheaters. Be careful accepting staff" in your appeal does nothing for your standing in this matter. In conclusion, it's obvious to me that you knew better but still decided to raid during a sit, I am a -1 for this appeal. So i started shooting into the now unowned waterfall, which can only be defended from inside.
