I was a CP, spent some time interrogating people at a place that we found weed at, told them we will just give a fine if they tell us where they are selling it, go to base they pointed me towards, then some hobo who has no relation to the base owner or to us decides to prop block the base. I cuff him, tell him to remove the prop. He refuses, so I arrest him. I blowtorch the prop then continue with what I was doing. I am later brought to a sit for RDA, told its not a valid reason to arrest someone for actively hindering my duty to do my job as a CP, and I am banned for RDA. I am told that I should have called staff to deal with it, which is just such a headache for no reason. I am told by much more credible and competent staff to try and handle issues in RP and im just banned for it later by staff who think everything has to be their business. It became quite apparent at this point that they were looking for any reason to ban me, even if its for a highly contested case of RDA (I will still argue its not even RDA) If I go up to some random guy on the street and arrest him, yeah thats RDA, but this guy was literally propblocking a base he has 0 relation to, just to hinder my ability to do my job as CP, somehow this is RDA. According to Heosphoros, the only thing I am allowed to cuff other people for is for RDM. Who warned/banned you? I have a video of the sit and it has you just telling us it was a retareded reason. and Andy was going to hand out a 3 d but I told him to give you a 1 day to try and work with you. But you do have a warning for RDA and was cp-banned by Andy before this sit for a similar thing. When it should have been a 1-3 day for Failure To Comply. But you got away with a cp-ban for 5mins (was a mess up on Andy) and as I could not double punishment so let it be. for cuffing right out of spawn and after I told you to stop you said no retard. To me, you got a big break. You were very rude and did not seem to want to help fix the problem or even see where you were wrong. And as I said this was Andy's sit and ban I just told him to do a 1 d instead of a 3 day. The purpose of a ban is to keep someone who means harm to the server off the server, correct? If we go by that, how was I harmful to the server by arresting a guy who is propblocking? Did that hobo ever get in trouble for propblock? Did andy ever get punished for that MRDM? According to you, you have 0 issue with me, but staff "have to go by the book". Yet in every single other case where someone did something wrong, you never "went by the book" for them. This makes sense how? I'd be pretty annoyed as well if I got stuck in a 10 minute sit over something that is common sense to begin with. However, I think that is a valid reason to arrest someone, not positive but I believe so. For that reason I am +1 for unban or reduction Also I completely understand being irritated for being in a 10 minute sit over something that should've been the other way around and the hobo punished. The CP ban was because a guy who was MRDMing was abusing spawn by killing people, then running into spawn so I couldnt arrest him. I cuff him, and he was slightly past the line where I could arrest him so I start hitting him with a stun baton to get him out (Heo is here throughout this whole occasion) the MRDMer friend then kills the guy I had cuffed to get him out, so I cuff him again when he comes out, then Heo uncuffs the guy with his staff powers, tells me the stop, and I reply by calling him a retard or something on the lines of that. Heo uncuffs him again with his staff powers, so then I leave the spawn tunnel and wait for the guy to come out then arrest him, so I do. Then, for some reason, I am physgunned on top of a rooftop and frozen, then brought to a sit and I am CP banned. Totally different occasions, they werent similar. The guy was propblocking the base & while I guess Quas could have called a sit to get it handled, he arrested him which doesn't really seem like a big deal. I mean really the guy gets off lucky because instead of having to be in a sit for propblocking - getting a warn possibly, he only has to be arrested for 90 seconds lol. If anything, the most I would've seen as justifiable is if you gave Quas a cp ban for a few minutes or a verbal warning. Personally I don't think I would have gave any punishment... the guy was interfering with a cop doing his job, so he got arrested...
