Why were you banned or warned?

I was warned for necroposting because I commented on the FIRST post in Videos/Screenshots. The last comment on it was January 24th. The last comment on the next post was January 13th.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Because I think it's absolutely silly to warn someone for necroposting when it's the first post in videos/screenshots. An entire section of the Forums being somewhat inactive shouldn't constitute for a warn. Last I remember staff agreed that necroposting wasn't something to take that seriously anyways.

It's the top post. I would get if you warned me for say, commenting on like the tenth post and necroing that but it was literally the first post in that section. How can you necro something that is the FIRST topic? Not to mention it's in videos/screenshots. You honestly shouldn't be bothering with that. It's an entertainment section of the forums, you are basically saying "Dont comment on an entire section of the forums meant for entertainment because no one is commenting." Necro posting is more for important stuff my man. This was something discussed among staff as well.

Here's an example of "necro posting" as per your opinion where it only matters if the post is old or not.
 

Here is Necroposting. Reviving a thread that has been buried and is old and no longer relevant.

 

Not to mention the post has a large amount of views making it one of the most relevant recent topics in that section of the forums.

People also consistently poke fun at Glarry. The topic of that post is very much still relevant.

After looking at it, defiantly don’t think he should’ve been warned for it.  It was the first thread in the topic and shouldn’t be considered necroposting, especially in the videos and screenshots topic +1

I mean, its literally in the most unused section of the forums, it wasn't anything that should be warned. There is a difference between reviving a dead thread (one that is literally buried in the forums) and posting on the top post in that section. Warn ain't valid imo.

That's the whole point of what necorposting  is commenting on a dead thread which he did. So it is a valid warn

The current rule is not even how necroposting works anymore. The only reason its still there is because no one has edited the rules to match with how things are done now.
