I understand that my words have consequences and i realized that after i said them. I was being stupid and foolish and i knew i had messed up. I sincerely apologized in the sit and i acknowledged that i had messed up. I should know better as i have been playing on this server since 2015. I am asking for forgiveness as i sincerely apologize to Haze_of_dream for the stupid things i have said. I understand that i should be punished for this so i am not asking for a complete unban (although that would be nice) i am instead asking for a reduction in time as a month is a long time especially since it is during the holidays as i planned to be more active while on winter break.  Thank you to whoever reviews this appeal.

Everybody makes mistakes, and your apology seems genuine.

The only problem with reducing your ban is that you were given the minimum punishment for making a ddos threat. So honestly you got pretty lucky only being banned for a month, Tyz could have given you a permanent ban.

Per the punishment guidelines "DDoS threat: 1 month-permanent ban."

For that reason I am going to stay neutral on this appeal for now, I will change my vote to a +1/-1 after viewing the response made from Tyz, and my fellow staff members.

 

Edit: I will be changing my vote to a +1 for ban reduction. It seems that the player you made this threat to has forgiven you.

Your apology seems sincere and you admit you made a mistake. Since you've been playing here for awhile a month is a really long time.

I have definitely heard more creative insults and threats during my tenure of being a proud officer of the law on darkrp. I do think that saying you were going to come to my house / ddos me was one the less smart options to pick. Nonetheless, I am rather surprised you even appealed with an apology no less since in my experience most people of this type genuinely don't care or don't think they were in the right for it and that alone is enough. Not to mention being banned over christmas is ass.

 

As the plaintiff I move to strike the defendant's ban, Apology accepted.

You threatened to ddos someone, although I agree with you wanting to play for Christmas break. But you did threaten do ddos someone. But it is one of the best servers to play on. Even though you got minimum punishment, Dream Minecraft hath forgiveth thee for thine sins.

As the banning moderator, I am neutral on what to do for this. You threatened to DDOS someone which is absolutely uncalled for. You were cuffed and fined and the response was a DDOS threat. I would like to see what the rest of the mods+ think about reducing the time as it is the correct ban length and punishment.

As far as my stance goes, Considering i've never interacted with you, and this seems to be your first ban. Here's my issue however, A DDOS threat for being arrested and cuffed isn't called for, nor is it mature, especially for someone whos been around as long as you say you have, considering you've been around since 2015 allegedly I'd go as far to say that you're supposed to be a role model for what to do and what not to do for the new players/members you interact with, a "veteran" player should be helping other users regardless of seniority, whos been here longer, who knows more, doesn't matter, we are a community, not a daycare, we build each other up instead of being immature and threatening to DDOS someone over being cuffed. Are people known for being mingey, toxic,etc? Yes, but that's where staff and "Veteran" players step in and show everyone how to behave, if you put good energy in, the community will put good energy out, that way we won't be known for "Oh my god, TitsRP is a server filled with cringe kids who threaten DDOS, or RDM all the time, its a bad server" and instead we COULD have people saying "Hey dude check out this really cool welcoming and friendly community of people who love to mess around and actually play DarkRP right"

I usually would -1 this, but reading your apology i won't -1 this, you sound like you really really enjoy this server and feel sorry from what you did, and most importantly, i'm baffled at the fact that haze did accept your apology,

 

if haze did accept your apology, i would 1000% do too, but do understand that if i see you making DDos threats again i won't be as lenient

His SteamID hasn't changed lol.

There is SteamID3, SteamID, and SteamID64 (they're all the same data represented in a different format.)

So the ID put in his original post is his SteamID64, but he commented the more commonly used one, the regular SteamID
