Why were you banned or warned?

I was sent the "intro video" to Dan McStubbins' YouTube channel by a friend in another discord, the same video that has been shared by Dan himself and many others in the Player Services channel of the TitsRP Discord, so this was not a video that was unknown to people. I decided to go to his YouTube channel to see what other videos were there, and made my way to the About section where I clicked a link to a twitter account, which to me at the time looked like it had CP on it. The absolute first thing I did when I found this was tell rubik, who was in my VC at the time playing rust. I wasn't even sure if he heard me, because the response that I got was pretty minimal, something like "Okay", I can't recall exactly what it was though. Right after this is where my big mistake comes in. At that time, I knew that Raccoons was leaking things I've said from another discord to another S-Mod. There are about 14 people in this discord, 15 when raccoons was in it. 5 of which are now permabanned including me. Quickly without thinking i @'d raccoons with the link in hopes that we would give it to that staff member so they can get staff's attention to it faster. There was no maliciousness running through my mind when I decided to send it to Raccoons, I @'d him specifically for a reason, but still made the mistake of letting other people potentially see it. (I did tell dan in my apology to him that part of the reason I pasted it there was because I found humor in the fact that it was linked to his channel, and what was meant by that was "If this ends up not being CP, it's funny that porn is linked to his youtube.") very soon after this, I messaged KDawg that I found potentially dangerous content on a staff member's twitter, which I believed to be dans at the time, but it ended up being his old username that he never unlinked and it got taken by some dude retweeting porn. I also believed it could have been CP due to how young I thought the people looked, but they ended up not being under 18. Before KDawg had responded, I got a message from doc asking me why I had put this in another discord that was created from TitsRP. (it wasn't, it's owned by a person that's removed from the community entirely.) I also got told I sent it to my friends to start drama. I speak very minimally to the owner of the discord, and probably 1 other person in there. The rest of the people I've either never spoken to, or have not spoken to them in a pretty long time. None of the people in there are "my buddies". After all of this, Doc had talked to me in a VC about it and I was not going to be banned until I blocked dan for messaging me immediately after everything had happened. I blocked him for a few minutes, and unblocked him to prepare an apology before I was even informed that I was being banned, but before I could I was messaged I was being banned.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

1. Selective punishment and bad coordination with a set rule on what is bannable from other discords and what isn't

There is absolutely no rule in the MOTD or Discord rules that clarifies if you are able to be banned for things in private discords or if certain actions from other discords can get you banned. Frisco, permabanned for wishing that one of the s-mods had died in a private discord, and eventually unbanned for it. Fuel, absolutely no punishment for inviting as many people as he possibly could just to break discord TOS by being racist and edgy in front of them in a private discord. Me, banned permanently for giving the twitter link to a person that was in contact with a senior moderator (which also would've broke TOS if the link content ended up being bad), and then blocking Dan for ~5-10 minutes afterward. Please, if you're going to pick and choose who you want to ban and what you want to ban them for in other discords, please either punish everyone who does something inappropriate, or set down a clarification that you can be banned if what you do in the other servers is considered severe enough for a ban on the TitsRP server.

2. Randomized punishments for things that have been done in-game and out of game that are arguably just as severe.

Example a.
Tass, ex administrator, banned 1 month for Toxicity and Pedophilia in OOC. I believe he told Jack Johnson that he hoped he became a child molestor. Also verbally warned for saying that another staff groomed somebody.

Example b.
Tene, long time player, banned 6 months for plastering textscreens multiple times across multiple days saying that he "supports pedosexual rights" and also saying that he dates 9 year olds.

Example c.
MarkCX, ex-staff, Called sugar a pedophile iirc, was banned for it and then unbanned not long after.

Example d.
Mads, at age 22 sent a very inappropriate image of herself to another player who was 17. Was permabanned and was unbanned after breaking a federal law.

Example e.
Players that are getting written warns for accusing players of touching kids PUBLICLY, IN GAME in front of 100 people. I witnessed this a few days before my ban.

Before all this happened, I knew some people didn't particularly like me, but now, I am getting shit on more and more everyday, and people have been targeting me outside of titsrp more now than ever before. I am really disappointed in you, Kilobyte, as well as your friends. You guys should know better. I really want to try to get along with yall, but yall choose to belittle and harass me AND my brother instead. I will private everything I have, as well as remove everything from now on, so that people don't try to share this information otherwise, as this is just too far, and I am sick of it. Not only that, this could have costed me my career if this was to get in the wrong hands, because of an assumption you made. Instead of confidentially bringing this up to an SA or bringing it up with Dan and dealing with it there, you decided the best course of action was to post it in a discord. You could've messaged any of the smod+ and had this dealt with. Not to mention, the twitter clearly isn't Dan's. Would've taken a solid 3 brain cells to come to that conclusion. Honestly disappointed with how stupid your decisions were. Even if the discord you sent the twitter to was "entirely removed from titsrp" you still had multiple members of titsrp in said discord. The kind of thing you accused Dan of doing is life-ruining. You were very clearly out to get Dan. Why would you want to leak that twitter if you weren't? I'm amazed you still had the nerve to come and make this appeal. Go and accuse people elsewhere -1.

So, I am gonna completely pour out my heart on exactly what happened here and exactly how I feel. From the times I have joined the staff team till now there's been absurd changes. I don't know if it was just you spiraling out of control due to you being heavily impressionable around people you hang out around but I can tell you first hand this is not the kilo that I remember. At one point you used to be someone I could have engaging convos about life with, someone that really actually cared and had a good heart. Somewhere along the lines we fell off, you just started doing your own thing and being really toxic and offensive. I can tell you this, at one point a large chunk of the staff team had respect for you. Between this stupidity and particular and the numerous instances in the past where we've had issues with how you conducted yourself professionally, I can tell you first hand that even from old images you did care a lot more about the server at one point.

 

You were someone OTHER people looked up to and were the first to ask for things as you were genuine. I am disgusted personally that you drifted this far from reality of who you once were but there's really not much I can say. I don't wanna sit here and say there's no hope, because there is. You just need to start off by no longer acting extremely childish and a shell of your former self. Learn your actions have consequences and stop trying to back paddle or get the approval of numerous parties by bringing up past justified instances of people being removed for things they said. If you can't yourself see the fault in your actions, you're not ready for yourself. Take some time off, try to focus on YOURSELF, prove that this will never happen again and maybe just maybe you can earn the trust of us back. But just know you've hurt a lot of relationships and lives here and the actions you did were horrible. I really don't want to think that you were faking the nice guy card this whole time because I really don't like accusing people of that but I am hoping that these were just a domino lineup that started to get uncontrollable. For all the people who are going with the side of "well its fucking public bro, why'd you expect bro", Dan didn't expect and everyone else don't expect people who saw how to contact him, send him messages basically saying "I hope your family dies of starvation" and a bunch of other shit. Not only that Kilo you know that as a staff member and admin, shit like that where it may be a actual thing gets done behind the scenes. Instead you put in the general chat channel of a discord where almost anyone with 2 brain cells are able to see, and don't act like you didn't know that shit was gonna spread like a wildfire, and sure enough it did. Kilo I did like you man, when you were staff even when you were being a little bit of a monk while staff I thought you were chill but right after you left the staff team it seemed like all that pent up shitter energy was released over the span of a week which in the end, the shitter energy imploded on itself which lead to you doing something that I can never forgive you for.

 

And don't try to use the argument "well they did it" You know and we use this term a lot, just because they were doing it doesn't mean you can do it. You, a admin of all people should know this but of course you pull out the card "well I was just being quirky!!!".

The reason why you were banned wasn't because you blocked someone, but it was because you became such a big shitter in the span of a week. And like they said, you put it in that discord just so all your other little buddies who call us bias and terrible staff members to look at it and spread it. You of all people should know that words spread fast.

 

That day when it was all going down I was told about what was happening, all of us, Every single one who were regulars in that VC, Every single one who knew Dan as their friend, was scared to think that Dan, who I myself call a good friend was actually what you accused him of. Those words hit us in the head with the force of a metal bat. When we found out it was a false alarm we all joined the VC and for the next hours it was sighs of relief all around. But when we were told you spread it around that was arguably worse, Dan now has to deal with people who got the twisted up side of the story everyday. 

 

All you're doing with pointing out all those cases that deal with that shit is showing me and everyone else we need change to be more harsh on cases like these, so I don't mind making this appeal the first action for this new change.

 

You show no remorse for your actions nor do you shed any responsibility, Just like you show no remorse to Dan I will not be remorseful for telling you to kick rocks.

You forgot to mention how you said you stopped caring a year ago, accused me publicly (not in an SA’s inbox ever to my knowledge) several times and by name after your ban, and alted. You did, after all, directly tell a superadmin you were going to attempt to alt many times and we have indeed banned some of your alts.

 

I understand you want to present yourself in the best possible light but not only are you missing a lot of information, you’re being intentional misleading about things that you as an administrator at the time would have known the actual details of if you were paying attention.

 

If your appeal can’t stand on its own merit and relies on situations that happened 1-2 years ago under different rules or on a player that’s currently perma banned, it’s not a great appeal.
