OG, you are an experienced player with many hours, you know racism with a hard-r in OOC is against the rules. I am sure you've seen people get banned and gigamuted for doing the same thing. I am honestly not sympathetic at all. How hard is it to not say the hard n-word, or even the normal n-word? You don't need to make a point to try and constantly be edgy or bait staff. Your argument of, "Why didn't they get punished for doing the same thing!!!" doesn't justify what you yourself did. You know the rules OG, and you've been punished in the past for using the hard R. This isn't a matter of the hard R as much as it is you still choosing to break a rule knowing full well that you will be punished for it. Let's take for example YoshE, he was banned recently for prop surfing and got a month for it. Him prop surfing wasn't malicious intent, HOWEVER he had been banned 3 times in the past for it and warned numerous times. Now let's say a newer player with no warnings or bans also prop surfed. It probably wouldn't be such a serious offense because they hadn't been in trouble in the past for it. Maybe a 1-2 day ban. This isn't about favoritism or "kissing ass to staff" It's about principle. We expect higher standards for our long time players. Instead of saying this isn't fair or why didn't they all get punished the same way you should be saying sorry. If this was an apology appeal i'd +1 the fuck out of it because it shows maturity and that you respect the rules that are in place. Before we get off-topic, this is about racism in OOC and I am going to agree with Succ's reasoning on the ban. It was to make an example and a fellow staff even said that a few others were banned as well. The ban was completely just so I am going to give this a -1.
