Before all this drama started, there were a ton of people sitting on a chair in the sky (connected to a roof right above the left tunnel in fountain area) and as a joke i put in a "sit here if you're gay" textscreen and (attempted) to place it near their them. There were others doing so but they removed it afterwards. My textscreen was stuck in their props and i was told to remove them by moderators (cobaselic and LeGerbs if im right). I crashed right after i was returned and so the textscreens were removed. I went as a preacher and made a skybase (this dupe was originally where it was as i made it and people can attest to the dupe being originally placed there as i made on valentines day and had it there for essentially the whole day.) and cleared out everything (including the walls.) GlazMain made a base there and i had a textscreen saying "Come and laugh at the gay's on the roof" of which i reconsidered and changed due to the first sit being called and i realized that is considered harrasment and i didn't want that. After it was changed, Smiley started to add on more and more to Glaz's base (Note that the Mr. Smiley was NOT in Glaz's party). and did so multiple times. I on the other hand had a textscreen saying "Come and watch the people on the roof" and true to that textscreen i added onto my own skybase so that the inside of glaz's base could be seen. I don't believe this is specifically targeting Smiley as i didn't have any intention to do so and was told specifically in 2 sits (all made by smiley) to not to which i did take into account. Note that before all of this in the discord general chat (during my crash and my reconnection i believe) i pinged Smiley and said "you're gay now" which although sounds like im attempting to get under his skin and annoy him was just a joke and was referring to the textscreens which were removed. There was another ping which was me showing a video on discord (that i uploaded) regarding what he was saying about me (people were telling him to not say stuff like that especially after a 2nd sit which we were both told not to interact with each other). The video was uploaded a good bit after the sit because i considered it funny and not a way to harass him. He responded to it, and i responded too and then stopped because we 1: aren't allowed to do so and 2: it won't matter if its in #general-chat and it should be on the forums as it is now. Now near the end before i was brought into a third sit made by him, i was adding props to my skybase in accordance to what i was doing the whole time (which was getting a view of the roof) and Smiley was adding walls (the one way fence) to Glaz's base and as i said before he was not in Glaz's party and was doing so to stop me from being able to change or view from my skybase. Even said so during it (right before he made a sit on me) "Haha now you're whole base is pointless" as he added in a final wall and attempted to seal it off. I put in props underneath it as i could see thru it and during it smiley also added in the wall. He said it was prop blocking and was extremely mad about that and made a sit on it. Not only was my skybase away from the base, smiley was adding props to another person's base and saying i can't be near those props as its his base (which as it is not connected to the roof would be skybasing and illegal) and then made a sit on me for another harrasment. I wasn't targeting him, interacting with him, or talking to him (not even in discord at the time) during this. He was in Glaz's base but that doesn't mean that because someone is in a base i am actively doing stuff to him. While I understand and took into account the moderators telling me not to "bother him or fuck with him" i don't believe i was nor was it intentional harassment against Smiley. Staff told me not to bother him, and i didn't. On the other hand, (Although this could just be him getting extremely mad about the first textscreen) Smiley has called me multiple words and has said he's not afraid to call me even more although i haven't said anything to it. I'm not trying to make Smiley look bad in the light but how he has acted towards me for doing things not related to him and bringing me into sits multiple times "to stand up for the people being bullied" while im not being a dick and bullying whoever he is saying is being bullied. So therefore i don't believe i was harassing Smiley and i should be unbanned. The first ones were regarding (as i said) a ton of people were sitting there and as a joke i put it up (the textscreen) in an attempt to put it near them but was said to be inside their props and was told to remove. Crashed, and it was. I didn't ping him to stir up drama and i can say i didn't have the intention to do so. And i did listen to staff. I haven't harrased smiley at all, and I've been saying so this entire time. All the sits that were made were all from him. The first one was entirely agreeable after i reconsidered it and my own fault. However the following weren't and was just Smiley's own interpretation of me bullying him/others and harassing/targeting him while i am not. The textscreens were also placed on my skybase to show it was a public base. And i did know what i was doing which is why i changed the textscreen. And i did my best to stay within the rules because that's what i'm supposed to do, unless you want to say i have been attempting to loophole rules. There are no technicalities that i'm trying to "slide out of". Like Jacket said above, I was the person who got reported by Smiley. I wont make it long because this isn't a report, so i'll make it short. Yesterday I used anon to say (something like this) "Mr smiley is military boy...." . 10 minutes later i'm in a sit claiming I harassed him, the Staff Kotos that took the sit said it wasn't harassment. So Smiley changed his story to say it was doxing, which I said this info is public on your profile picture and then again he changed the context to "he used anon in a none-RP way". Which at the end Kotos told him to make a report if he feels that way, but he would look stupid making one on this situation. After the sit I tried PMing him several times to know what I did wrong but he ignored my PMs, not only that but in the sit he completely ignored me when I tried talking to him. I'll put some evidence of PMs I sent that were never replied to. Conclusion, Mr. Smiley reports people for the smallest things and try to loophole and find other ways to get the person he wants warned/ban. I don't know both sides of the story of this ban appeal, so I will not make assumptions. But please take this into a count because Mr. Smiley in my experience is the kind of player to passive minge to get people banned. (PS : I never had a bad encounter with him before and he went to that length to get me in trouble). Ignoring my PMs proves that his intentions weren't to try to resolve the problem, but to punish me for a small thing. Weaponized Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 hecko everyone, last night got a bit out of hand i must say, but he was 100% not hurting my feelings or hurting me in anyway, the reason why i called the sits on him was because he was directing his toxicity at other younger players that i was role playing with at the time, after i had a few of them come up to me expressing there concerns, i then went and confronted him, but all he wanted to do was make fun and call all these amazing people names and post harassing text screens at them in his own bully since of a way because he thought it was fun. The entire time, i was only sticking up for the little guys against him because he found it fun to bully as you can see in his own posts, he says it himself that he posted rude and hateful things directed at everyone who wasn't causing problems for anyone in any RP manner or sort of way. Cobaselic, Warren, Lagerbs, Sea bear are 4 of the admin's/Mod's who did a fantastic job, along with many others who helped everyone in the path of this toxic guy. i would stick up for anyone again in a heartbeat who is being bullied by anyone! You firstly put up text screens right next to a group of people who all took offense to it, including Smiley, to which he reported you. You then argued with us for a solid 5 minutes just to remove a text screen and us having to threaten to kick you at least 4 times in a single sit because you wanted to keep an obnoxious sign up. After that you spawned a sky base right next to the one they were all at, and I mean within jumping distance so you could spawn signs saying "Laugh at these losers." You were then brought in to the second sit and Sea Bear and myself had told you to remove those signs as well. Then lastly the final sit where you started spawning your props just barely not in their base to get on their nerves once again. Not to mention tagging Smiley numerous times in discord and calling him Gay. Walter the Assaulter Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 Your story seems incredibly vague in some spots, like someone trying to avoid saying certain things in a certain way but having to admit to it. If you were told by multiple staff members to leave him alone, why would you not just, say....leave him alone instead of doing things to "the places and people around him but not targeted at him." You act like we don't know what a loophole is so you're feeding us a pretty bad one. We have a specific rule against minging. You went out of your way for a not-insignificant amount of time to try your best to annoy someone specific and the people they were hanging out with. I see no validity in this as a report against the player. Are there any additional comments you want to add in response to the feedback given by staff who witnessed the situation? The entire anon story Zek posted seems pretty dumb but it looks like it was handled correctly by in-game staff. I am +1 for unban because you guys seem to only be looking at one side of the story and not realizing things could be dragged out from both sides. you knew exactly what you were doing and did your best to stay within the rules. Instead of leaving him alone like you were told by multiple staff members, you decided to continue. You can say all you want that "it wasn't directed towards him", but it was man. You're trying to slide out on technicalities.
