Jacket Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Your Steam Name: jacket Your in-game name: jacket Your SteamID: Why were you warned/banned?:Loopholing rules (Using Thomas to start a raid) [Considered FailRP] Story: I'm picolase cage and I spawn a train on Zucc (who is in a base) after that I switch immidiately to my raiding CC, I go to their base and wait, after the explosion (which took 2 players) I lockpick their garage door and get in and close it, waited for the owner to remove the dupe, after he removes it I go behind him and kill him with his other teammate. I get accused of teleporting to their base and changing jobs, but it gets dismissed then they accuse me changing jobs mid raid, my point is dying by thomas is separate RP than raiding, they claimed that if you spawn a train in someone's base it'd count as a raid and picolas CANNOT RAID (so it's basically failrp) and I have to disagree with that, as in Picolas Cage CANNOT RAID and so if he does whatever he pleases with the cereal monster and to whoever he wants, it wouldn't count as raiding or rdming. many people have "trained" bases, including the staff who issued the warn Succ the Zucc. they claim that the raid started when I spawned the train, but when one of the people who based there died in the train and cameback twice and died only got warned for NLRx1, which doesn't make sense if the raid started from the train Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? : I started the raid when I first lockpicked the garage doors. So what happened was I was told jacket failrp and switched jobs in between raiding. I asked jacket why did you spawn in the train . He said I wanted to blow up there stuff . I then asked him why did he change jobs . He said I wanted to have better stealth something like that . I told him this is not allowed and when he spawned in the train he had the intent to raid . And changing classes during that time period was failrp and not allowed. I explained this to him multiple times . What you did jacket was completely failrp and the warn was valid. I spoke to Jack Johnson and succ they completely agree. You fail to understand that you had the intent to raid when you spawned in the train to blow up there stuff. You admited to it . A piklas event is a natural event, and separate from the raid. This means that Succ and Isaac were more than welcome to return to the base and defend, as they did not die in a raid. While Jackets actions are shitty, and I dislike his approach to raiding, he did nothing wrong. I understand he had the intent to raid when he switch from piklas, but we do not have a rule against metagaming. That's essentially what this situation turns into. He went into a new job with information from his previous job and acted on it. That's not against the MOTD. It's just bad role-play. Sewer, as an ADMIN, I'm beyond disappointed. I count on Admins to know things like this. You say he changed jobs in the middle of an RP scenario, but the natural event is not role-play. Jacket's RP started when he set foot into their base. Jacket; I completely agree with Sal in this. It's pretty scummy, however it's not against the MOTD. Contact an admin or the issuer of the warn to have it removed.
