Warned*?: I saw Walter the Assaulter micspamming so i cuffed him and fined him for disrupting the peace, he declines it and brings me to a sit and says its not rp since the laws don't state that micspamming is illegal, I tell him that its pretty much common sense that micspamming would be disrupting the peace but he says i didn't give a valid rp reason and warns me, I pm with him a bit giving examples like that building in the streets is not in the laws but is still not legal and the example used in the fining guide of motd. He also said that I have to warn him before fining because in rp he wouldn't know but that doesn't really make sense either since he's doing something illegal and its not like i verbally warn someone raiding first before arresting. It's not RP to randomly run up to a hobo that's micspamming on a public street away from any private bases (Not even anything annoying, it was literally a Wind Waker song www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nuiZK5p04w) to cuff and fine them for playing a song with no RP involvement (warning to stop or gathering complaints from nearby citizens) or having any kind of law against it. That's random cuff/fine. I was literally not disturbing anybody, people were gathering to listen and I would have went somewhere else if warned to stop. What was he disrupting if no one was telling him to stop, including yourself. Is that really your defense? -snip- My defense is that if I see someone breaking the law im not going to walk up to them and say "hecko mr you're breaking the law please stop" If you want a more relatable minor offense i wont warn someone first for jaywalking i would go up and fine them for the offense. I don't exactly know if that really helps but I mean all he is doing is just playing some music like possibly some actual hobos out in the street do. In real life if someone was playing music outside I don't think a cop would walk up and fine them for "Disrupting the peace". Its like the role of being a pedo, your there to be annoying to cops and if you get arrested its on you. While there wasn't a direct law saying you cant, Playing music that someone cant just easily mute, especially a staff members mic because if they are needed in future sits they are gonna have to go through and unmute. There is no point to throwing a Warning on someone for something this small and this stupid. +1 For Removal.
