Reasons why you are reporting: This first part i'm about to discuss isn't particularly what i'm reporting about, but I thought I might share it. To put it simply, I yelled that I was selling processors over advert, he took my bait, I scammed him and blew up his things. He starts yelling that what I did broke the rules and saying what I did was illegal (i've literally scammed about 25 people already and I know it's allowed). He argued with me for a good minute before giving up.  I personally don't mind if mods don't know every single rule in the game (there are a lot i get it), but screaming at players over mic and lying through his teeth trying to intimidate players not to ever touch him and making up his own rules is extremely unprofessional, but I digress.

 

The main reason i'm posting this is for what happened afterwards. After I killed him, he typed multiple times in OOC that I was a scammer. Considering that his is RP, and his character died during the scam, he was essentially meta gaming because there was no RP possible way that he could know that I'm a scammer. I actually wasn't going to post it until he said "lmao id only get a warn it's not like it's a bannable offence". 

 

Whether something happens or not, his conduct is extremely unprofessional. How can anyone expect players to follow the rules and T-mods to enforce them when there are rogue admins like this that essentially say "if i can't get banned for breaking the rules I don't care lmao". Abuse of authority at its worst.

There is a difference between being a player and breaking the rules, and being a Staff member.

 

 

Being a player, yes, can maybe get you a warn and a good slap on the wrist. 

But being a Staff member, a MOD, and breaking the rules, can be very much Demoteable.

 

 

Breaking rules as a staff member is nothing but Hypocritical, has you are breaking the rules you are meant to enforce.

 

 

Sure, if this was a normal situation and you hadn't said what you said after, that simple rule breaking would have been a warn at most.

 

 

But to boast about it only getting you a warn, is to encourage others to break the same rules because its "not a bannable offence"

 

 

This is not how a Moderator should behave. And i am +1 for Demotion as of right now.

 

However! I would like to see everyone elses opinion below before a decision is made!

You really went out of your way to do this, oh well.

 

1. I got a single rule confused, I even tracked you down and apologized over voice chat about it, I don't know if you heard it because you kept walking but I did.
   
2. Not once did I abuse my authority, I'd love to see where I used my position to put myself above you
   
3. And to your point "rogue admins like this" I never once said it wasn't wrong, and if you'd have done so much as to make an actual admin sit about it, I would have punished myself accordingly. I was not going to punish myself if you didn't care enough to make a sit.(I believe I even told you to make a sit about it which you ignored)
   
4. Since you're in game at the time of me writing this, pm me about it and ill resolve it if you'd like, If not, understandable.

I'm failing to see how I was boasting that I'd only get a warn. In my own eyes I was more going towards letting this guy know that breaking rp would only be a warn, because in something like this where the player even said "it's not like I'm going to keep this name" it was showing that he didn't care that people thought that "Master Chief Elite" was a scammer because he could simply change his name. I guess he changed his mind though. 

Also, this is the only time I've been reported as a tmod/mod because it's the only time I've broken a legitimate rule and it seems to be the only time someone has had a problem with me "abusing my position".

-1 for demotion for diagonal because I know he is a great mod and as of right now this is the first mistake I have seen him do so I don't think he should be demoted for it

I don't see it as Abusing your position. However, you should not be acting as if it is not a big deal. If you misunderstood a rule, you should have acknowledged that in some way, not exclaim "oh i'd only get a warn anyways". That is not the mindset you should have at any point in time.

I did attempt to acknowledge, I went up to him and said sorry about it in voice (which he ignored) and I said sorry and offered to talk about it twice in PM even telling him that he should make a sit about it which he also ignored.

So if Diagonal didn't say "I'd only get a warn lol" then I could see it just being a rule confusion but if he was aware of what he was doing then it's 100% demotable.

 

Im gonna stay neutral just because i believe in 2nd chances and this is the first time I see a report on diagonal

 

P.S: Maybe diagonal should have used the scam list, I mean cowsRchunky is on there soo... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

There are words that shouldnt come out of any mod and those were the worse you could say.
