Crashes after "Workshop Complete"

started playing yesterday fine no problems just got done building and randomly Gmod crashed tried loading it back up now it just freezes and crashes after getting to "Workshop Complete!" i booted Gmod back up and it said something about unused/deleted addons in cache so i deleted the 3 things and it doesnt give anything in the problems in Gmod but still freezes and crashes ive also tried reinstalling Gmod with no success

If you have a second screen you should put task manager there and go to the Performance tab, examine your resource usage while loading in. If your disk, memory, or CPU are spiking to 100% with that crash you may have a faulty component. Are you dealing with hot temps in your PC?

no like this is an issue with this server only not any other server

honestly with how long this has taken and how many solutions ive gone through i may just say that might be the end for my time in dark rp only really liked this server and seeing its looking like the only fix is gonna be fac resetting windows really loved this server spent a good amount of time here but guess this is it

Don't be discouraged, really. There are better gmod experts than me, and when you find one this problem will be done and dusted.

Try adding the following command to garrysmod/cfg/autoexec.cfg

engine_no_focus_sleep 0

If that doesn't work try deleting system32.

I got like 0 clue what that means at all i put "engine_no_focus_sleep 0" in my cfg text file with no luck whatsoever but honestly i really wanna play on the server but theres just no way im going to completely factory reset my pc over 1 gmod server its just more logical not to use this server anymore even after all the time ive put into here

Boot up a VM and install steam and login and download gmod and see if you can play from a VM

I completely get that, I wouldn't want to reset my PC for a single Garry's Mod server either, however if you're the only person that's reported being unable to connect to the server, statistically speaking it's more probable that the issue is on your end and not the server. The problem is that we have zero clue what your hardware specs are, what else is running on your PC that may be eating up resources, or any modifications to the client you may have made. You could try checking for crash logs in your Garry's Mod folder. That could help point us in the right direction.
