Crashes after "Workshop Complete"

started playing yesterday fine no problems just got done building and randomly Gmod crashed tried loading it back up now it just freezes and crashes after getting to "Workshop Complete!" i booted Gmod back up and it said something about unused/deleted addons in cache so i deleted the 3 things and it doesnt give anything in the problems in Gmod but still freezes and crashes ive also tried reinstalling Gmod with no success

Not 100% sure that's the same reason you were crashing but I was literally unable to join the server at all and that's what fixed it for me. 

i dont think it would be since i only use gmod for this specific server I've only played sandbox for fixing this problem and seeing who gmod works ive only ever joined another server once being to try to see if its just this server its happening on which it is i dont have any other addons besides the one from this server

so i did all that still did the same exact thing and i tried do figure out the "noworkshop" thing i think i got it and i got that error trying to join but other then that nothing else

Alright you can disable no workshop now which was stopping you from downloading the server map. With all the steps completed and no workshop disabled what do you see?

i wasnt sure if i did the no workshop thing correctly but all it did was give me that error above

Yeah, its fine. You can revert the no workshop thing and try to reconnect to the server now.

well i mean i did everything you told me to do you'd know more of what im doing then me i tried what you told me to do and it didnt work

Is it just giving you the same starting error now still? Like the workshop complete freeze?

yeah i have it put back to allow all from whatever now and just same thing workshop complete then freeze

I'm really not sure why that would happen. My next solution is honestly just ask reddit or chatgpt. It seems like a bigger problem than most.
