Do you have evidence related to this incident?: No Delta initiated a voteban on me with multiple staff online citing failbase. This can be confirmed by @Steve Harrington as he was the staff member who stopped the vote. It seems to me this is a clear violation of two rules regarding vote kick/ ban/ mute rules specifically "You may only call a vote kick/ban when there are no staff online, or when all online staff members are flagged as ‘AFK’. Breaking this rule will restrict your ability to call votes" & "[DO NOT] Ban/kick someone because they killed you in a raid". I’m not arguing, just genuinely curious, where does it say that in the rules? And 100% I would not be posting a report had Delta not reported me. That doesn’t refute that Delta clearly broke the rules regarding voteban/votekick (insofar as I read the mlm in the !MOTD). Perhaps there is an unspoken rule that if your sit hasn’t been taken within 60 seconds you can voteban someone for failbasing, if so feel free to delete my post. So the unwritten rule regarding the voteban system is a 180° contradiction of the MOTD? The MOTD should probably be updated then. And just for future reference, how long would you reckon the ticket have to go ignored in order to warrant a voteban for failbase? If I recall correctly Delta’s ticket would have been created at most a minute prior to the voteban. Glorp Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 Players may call votes at any time regardless of status, given the fact they are right, your base was a failbase, you refused to listen, you got voted out. This is not abuse of a system, this is just using the system. While it discourages players from doing so while staff online, that doesn't mean you should wait 30 minutes for staff to stop being busy with their lives if you feel like a player deserves punishment. Miami mint vape Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 I made a sit on you and it wasn't taken so i called a vote ban for it to be resolved instead , after my vote ban was stopped due to staff actually wanting to take my sit right then and there it was resolved , i know you are upset i made the forums post on you but next time please don't boast in game stating "you wont catch me getting a warn dumbass crybaby" so then i took it upon myself to make the report as you asked.
