New to TitsRP™

Hello chat, I'm Direct a.k.a DirectOnSteam

 

    I'm new to TitsRP and I used to play heavily on ****** server back around 2017. I haven't played Garry's Mod™ since and I think it's finally about time I make a return to the community and I feel like this is the one I wanna be apart of.  I have been on Garry's Mod™ [DarkRP]  for a little over 4 hours and I've had nothing but great and nice reception and a generously happy experience so far, I was wondering if there's anything I should know about the community or the people here on TitsRP™ or anything I should really look into? I appreciate your time and your responses thank you.

don't report every rulebreak, trust me, only the serious ones, or if you lost something.
there will be a group of people that will dislike you, you cannot avoid it.

I have no idea what's with the ominous or foreboding threats, but genuinely speaking just keep in mind it's a chill RP server, so a lot of things really aren't taken too seriously here. There's a lot of cool people in the community who are always eager to help out newer players, and honestly if you just keep in mind at the end of the day it's a video game you'll have a good time here! The MOTD is incredibly extensive, and there are a lot of jobs with very niche rule sets behind them. Don't feel burdened to know everything before diving in! Like I said, there will always be people happy to help out someone new, so never be afraid to ask for help.

There will be people who specifically target your kindness as an easy mark to grief/troll/harass.

 

Do not give them anything to work with. Simply Grey-Rock them or drown them with pure kindness, they feed on snide remarks and reciprocated insults.

 

Also stay out of the sewers, as that's MY home.

They aren't threats... and if you've been around long enough you know exactly what they mean by those comments. Feeling a bit called out by VoN there /hj

 

 

But uhhh yeah honestly just follow the rules, keep away from the trolls when you can and just be a decent person. If you ever see me on (better chance to on Friday nights or weekends) and need something ill help when I can.

Welcome and enjoy yourself! Most important thing you should know before going all-in is to have fun, and remember this is a game. I know it sounds retarded but a lot of people here forget it's a game and self-indulge into all sorts of degeneracy and/or weird behavior. The people who claim they have been harassed (at least from this post, Hex 100% has) have truly been harassed by certain members of the community who no longer play as much. These people who have targeted users like Hex (even if sometimes Hex can provoke this -- it is still wrong) find enjoyment in making your time here as troublesome as they can get it. Luckily for you, there are new admins who will see this for what it is and acknowledge it rather than make excuses.

TitsRP at core plays moreso like an MMO in terms of how you can grind and consume content as it's released (peak updates don't happen as often anymore but the game has a lot to offer with updates here and there from Rubik). You have a ton of stuff you can do but burnout from playing too much is a real thing that consumes us all when we used to play all the time -- or still do.

TLDR: Just enjoy yourself and just like any other online community, you should limit how much personal information you give out and place onto your profile.

yes our server is actually known for security breaches, drama, scammers, etc. Welcome aboard! Happy to have you in the community!!!!
