staff report on kkstoner and f_ for believing themselves to be above the message of the day since they are staff

The only reason i wouldnt give the time of day to go to the sit is that agro and jake skylynx spent almost all night trying to fuck with me, having them go out of their way to go find me, and i saw it this way

i either give in to the rage bait and get angry at them for doing the most to give me cancer

or be stubborn and do my own thing somewhere else
 

if i was getting reported for an actual severe rulebreak i would be more apologetic but i would rather take a strike for being stubborn and deciding to have a tiny bit of actual harmless fun when there was less than 30 people on the server at the time than get really pissed off over these two trying to obviously troll me

 

To be honest i dont care if i get a strike for this but it should be known that these two were going out of their way to follow me around in game and do the absolute most.

Treating this like such a severe thing i did is really funny because the only reason is i didnt want to give them the rise they were looking for. 

 

and tbf agro himself had made a sit on me and it was literally said in staff chat that it could be handled in staff chat but since they love doing the most agros party member jake decides to make the sit after agro is told it can be handled in staff chat. seems a little odd to me

F and I have a pretty similar outlook on this, if the servers dead around reset, minor rules are less important, everyones normally chillin just trying to have fun during dead times -1 for any punishment to F
 

As for stoner, you were told to stop regardless of it being dead or not, then did it again; and you should know thats when staff will punish you if you don't listen.

I only interacted with you during rule breaks for sits and as I explained I told you in voice to STOP and you didnt and my 2/@ didnt work so I couldn't tell you in staff chat.

It doesn't matter the severity of the rulebreak at the end of the day, you still broke the rules.

Yes I totally went out of my way to target you, all jokes aside, you were breaking rules in POPULAR areas and when I seen it was a rule break I told you but you didn't listen.

I made a sit on you due to the reason I stated above, YOU DIDNT LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SAID IN VOICE AND DIDN'T LISTEN WHEN I MADE MY SIT. Jake Skylynx made a sit before I was even told to handle it in @ chat (which I still couldn't use).

I also agree with Tene on this that the rule should be handled much like flags and textscreens ie: if you are told to stop then you stop. My main issue with this situation is the refusal to even teleport to the sit. Even if the person reporting you was in Agro's party there was a sit taking place and you were requested. If a random player reported a staff and heard "It will be handled in staff chat" they would probably assume nothing is going to happen. This was just handled poorly in general.

My final say on this situation:
 

This entire report may be "petty" or a "targetted" report but at the end of the day this entire report is valid for everything you did.

You talk about not wanting to give us the "Rise" we were looking for, what 'rise" are you talking about, the one where players get reported for ACTUAL rulebreaks and have to follow through due to it being a rule break?

You were given multiple chances to stop micspamming like I said before, but everytime you ignored untill F___ said something then loopholed. 

 

Not wanting to tp to a sit you are being reported (for valid reason) just sets an example that staff are better and above the rules unlike normal player.

 

In all honesty, you were being stubborn and difficult for no reason except "They were targeting me and I did not want to give them a rise" which just doesn't make any sense especially as current mod and ex smod. You were given multiple chances to stop rulebreaking everytime you broke a rule and you just ignored them until the point I actually had to tell a Higher Rank about it just because of the example you were setting and the attitude. Henchy read @ chat at the time and asked what happened and then you were saying "Demote me swiftly I am commiting unforgivable acts" so henchy told us to both TP and so I do because I wanted to handle this situation without going to a higher rank but instead you decide to log off.

You are just a stubborn person. you are bias towards me and jake, you don't see how you are wrong and are blaming others, and you honestly set a bad example for how staff should act.

And i wouldve treated it differently if it was a random player complaining about it, not 2 people who are clearly doing it to get my reaction, and its hilarious im getting called biased when i was trying to do my own thing not bothering anyone but agro and jake went to such lengths as they are now to get me in trouble for not feeding into their little game they are playing while i was on last night. It seems like this kind of stuff only matters to a certain few staff on the team if they have dislike for the person doing it, talk about a bias lol

Imma be real, based off what everyone has said only you and jake had issues with it. Did other users also make sits about it? Being in a popular area shouldn't matter if someone is micspamming. If you/jake had issues with it that should be made clear, saying it was because they were in popular areas is silly. Micspamming is handled if someone specifically has an issue with it, so that would have to be the case here.

The whole building thing DID feel petty though. Jake made the sit, you claimed the sit. I don't think other staff would have had issues with someone showing off their car dupes in the side of that spot(at least i hope not), none of the dupes were being down more than some seconds worth of time, and it does feel silly to go after them for it. You and jake being friends shouldn't be completely ignored in this scenario.

This feels excessive. There is an understandable level of frustration to be had about having the fun ruined. The way that KKStoner handled the situation was not correct, and it should have been handled differently - even if they felt they were being singled out. Resorting to insulting people isn't really a great example either.



Having been able to gather information on this and learn mutliple sides of the story, I can't say that KKStoner shouldn't be given a strike, but understanding their frustration, I can have a level of sympathy to their situation. KKStoner may have not handled the situation proper, in return making it more problematic for everyone, but this whole micspamming thing is something I can attest to only being enforced when people feel like it. Staff and regulars alike have micspammed without issue or so much as a peep from anyone about it, and its been a fun thing most people do. I'm a well known hobo enthusiast so people frequently have me muted for micspamming. In the end it's that easy to solve the problem, just client side mute. I do think going to these lengths comes off as aggressive, and there is definitely some beef going on between stoner and agro/jake. I definitely think this should be kept in mind when it comes to concluding this situation.

I feel like staff should not be in a position to use their powers for the sake of pissing other people off, i think any ounce of critical thinking will show that agro and jake were doing this purely to fuck with me even if it was within the rules on their end. And yeah i did not handle it well and i never denied that but im not gonna give up my dignity for this toxic shithead to walk all over me because I wanted to have harmless fun one night at 2 am. I will take the strike but i think agro who has many demotions under his belt now should know that using your position to target and harass other members is an even worse look than refusing to go to a sit as staff. You have disliked me from the moment i talked to you which is fine, but being in a place of power now and using it to put me down further is disgusting

There has been an idea spreading more and more during the time that ive been admin, and im confused where it is coming from. Just because someone makes a report on a player they dislike does NOT mean that you can ignore the rule break or be more lenient with the punishing. As a staff having the mentality of "I won't stop breaking this rule/ punish myself for it because the only one who cares is someone who is known to dislike me" is only going to cause more issues, make these players dislike you more, and see you as more biased. All of this would have never happened if you simply stopped breaking the rules when you were first asked.
