i was a hobo that was residing inside this base and i saw this all happen. this was the furthest thing from mass RDM as seen in the clip. multiple people were lurking around -- trying to bludgeon hobos that were around this tunnel. this guy was grabbing piklas' props and moving them around which causes piklas to believe at first glance that this guy just prop blocked piklas' base but it was actually a trial moderator that moved piklas' own props.

tl;dr
the base gets prop blocked by a tmod and then piklas gets banned for mass rdm for defending his place of residence!
not a good look for a fresh tmod tbh.

i'd like to re-iterate i was inside this base and seen this all happen without even being in the party with piklas so this post is relevant.

I'm confused how this is MRDM? Why is this staff member fiddling with your props? The kills look pretty valid to me he has a loitering sign and they are sitting outside his dupe for a profound period of time. He just got off another false ban and this looks false to me as well.

 

I know this is a report but im waiting for the banning staff to respond before I make up my mind if anything else needs to be done.

Seeing such a recently trained tmod failing on multiple fronts (false ban reason, randomly using staff tools in main land, failure to take a second to step back and take a look at the situation,)  I feel he should be demoted.

If this was a ban appeal, it'd instantly be a 

+1 for Unban.

 

However, as it is a report, and pretty blatant abuse,

 

+1 for Reprimand 

 

Whether that be a fresh retraining of the T-Mod, a discussion with them, or a flat out demotion.

Going to wait for the staff member to explain themselves, but touching people's props without explaining why you are doing it(or being staff on duty) is a big no-no.

No evidence of MRDM , just a tmod spotted moving a players prop without consent 

 

The kill was unnecessary but I understand the players frustration,  definitely will have to get staff in question retrained with a talk , anything else would be a smod+ to choose
