The "bias" in question is staff policy for the last at least 7 years of the server. There even is a catchy saying for it -> "If there is no sit you must acquit" 

Me and legerbs have very public disagreements from before, during and after he was staff and he is telling you about how the server has been run for year and years before you even joined the server (less than 4 months ago)

 

The bias being demonstrated is you "interviewing" people from a very specific friendgroup with leading questions when they did not care at all ingame and at the same time trying to make the argument that harold who threw a grenade at unwilling participants is fine because some of them were his friends. 

 

Again, if im banned for no one except 1 person calling a sit then harold should be banned for the same exact reason

Except for the fact that there was an (albeit shitty) sit made. A sit made for a player MRDMing.

 

Everyone I interviewed was copy and pasted directly from the logs provided by JgPapi. If you want to make a report towards Harold, then I absolutely encourage it for the exact same reason I think your ban is just as valid. 

 

However, due to the clear bias (and disregard for proper appeal handling) from former members of staff, any furthering of this discussion is pointless. If this appeal is accepted, then it sets a very bad precedent moving forward that "MRDM is okay so long as you're abusing it with people who don't give enough of a shit to deal with you in a sit".

 

I also never once advocated FOR Harold, simply stating that he was amongst those killed in "self defense" by a weapon that should absolutely be removed from the server for reasons exactly like this.

So why isn't he banned? He did a worse offense than i did and threw a grenade into a group with nothing being done to him prior?

You're forgetting once again I didn't take Dexter's ticket, nor was I the one who mishandled a situation should've been handled much differently.

In no way shape or form if I was still an admin+ would I have let you get away with interviewing players after the ban was made from an entirely different staff member. This isn't some harassment case or a huge deal. This is MRDM on one of the most laid back servers in gmod. 

 

IMO the smods and admins should really be coaching you right now on how to be a better staff member.  Also adding onto the fact that ban appeals and reports are where 99.99% of rule change discussions happen and has and will remain a healthy way to balance out education over punishment.
