Ironfish1 How long were you warned or banned for? 3 minutes I was banned by ironfish for Failrp raiding as citizen/ false demote. What happened was i seen a supplier walking down the street and asked to buy some goods. He walked into a base and i followed and waited until he came to the front room to ask again. I kindly asked to buy some armor and some guns and he gunned me down without saying anything. i then called an RP demote for refusing to sell goods as supplier. The demote did NOT go through and the player was not demoted. I was reported and ironfish banned me for reasons listed above. He claimed i raided his base as citizen and that i called a false demote. rule regarding demoting is below I believed he was not performing his job functions as intended (only 1 player can be supplier) so i firmly stand behind my demote reason. I didnt know calling an unsuccessful demote and walking into a gun dealers base was a bannable offence. This "admin" needs retrained. I will admit i did call ironfish a retard in the sit after he said i was gonna be banned for these actions. If someone failed to perform their job functions correctly (Ex: A cop let their friend have a gun without a license) you can /demote them. If they broke a rule against you (Ex: RDM) you could demote them but we highly suggest calling a sit. Contact someone before calling a /demote on them for breaking a rule against you. If you are unsure, ask for staff assistance. I called the demote a few seconds after the clip ends i would also like to mention, this same admin banned Hyder for 1 minute for IRDM a few minutes prior to this. I dont believe he can just pick and choose ban lengths to flex his power. Only letting you know ahead of time before they see this incase you want to add more length to the vid. (Information for the player please hide if need to just giving him useful information.) Guest Posted January 23, 2024 Share Posted January 23, 2024 From the evidence provided it doesnt seem like you tried to raid the suppliers base since you were not aggressive towards him Suppliers are not obligated to sell guns either but at the same time you should not hog a very needed job for hours on end just for the purpose of having it for yourself For how long did the supplier have his job? As Nipple Farm Stated, you did False demote, as the supplier isn't required to supply anybody(besides themselves). Secondly, you did enter/trespass into his base. Under the rules("Raiding: Having the intent to invade another person's home. Whether you're being harmful or not, trespassing someone else's house should be considered a raid.") this is considered Raiding! Citizens cannot raid. Lastly, "I dont believe he can just pick and choose ban lengths to flex his power." Staff members decide the punishment as they see fit. We aren't robots that must strictly abide by the guidelines, small/unique punishments can be used. If I were to "flex my power" I would have banned you for 3 days instead of three minutes. You false demoted, were extremely rude in the sit, and were constantly combating me saying that you did nothing wrong. I believed that a 3 minute break from the server would be enough to cool you down. Also it would be nice to see 30 seconds before and after, in the sit it was claimed that you were following him around before he was supplier. There's also the fact that you demoted him eight seconds after he killed you which made it seem like a petty attempt to get back at someone for not doing what you want them to. Hey i think you are getting the wrong definition of raiding, by extension shouldn't this mean that entering a building or public base without the owners consent as any job would warrant a warn for FailRP (Raiding a building)?
