The rules are written for a reason to provide clarity. All the megabase rules are written plainly and concisely. FTC or failure to comply is usually used because you failed to listen to the staff member who told you to stop. After reading through all of the comments from everyone as well as looking at the proof provided I do have to agree with the punishment provided it should have been dropped when you were told to. I will be a -1 on a ban reduction the ban should stay. Please take this time to reflect on what happened and learn from it so you can come back better than ever!

FTC this is not your first time  having issues with Terry specifically on megabasing. last time it was near PD and we already had a talk where we discussed what megabasing is and how it can be used.

 

Now before I get into your specific appeal, I dont agree with the decision to allow Terry to mega base there as I wouldve seen it to be a high density location with trash job being so popular and how much traffic is required to head into indus. 

 

Nonetheless, staff online at the time made a decision and as shown in the logs, you were given ample time to stop whining and moaning in OOC. If you had stopped and just asked for the opinion of another admin through discord, made a forum post about it instead, you would not be punished. You are being punished for not only failing to comply(smdhobodad) with justified request but also not adhering to the guidelines written out in our MOTD and forums on what is expected from a player when they disagree with staff decision.

 

Both staff and players have their expectations on how to act and what to do in these situations. Ironfish followed his set of guidelines, you did not. 

 

As it stands, your punishment was valid. Do better next time. Instead of acting like a child, use the correct methods to get what you want.

To appeal a ban we need to prove that the ban was invalid, issued to the wrong person, or given to you in error (staff misunderstood the situation or rules). In this case, the evidence you provided only shows you getting banned, it does not provide any additional context. Going by what Ironfish posted as evidence, as well as your previous ban history (yes, we do take this into account) this seems like a valid case of player toxicity. You can read our Proper punishment times and reasons to see why you got the ban that you did for player toxicity.
