"Exploiting" Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? i know that i was in the wrong for glitching inside sitland but i just feel like a 6 month ban was a little too harsh when i stopped as soon as a tmod (tyz37) saw me and asked me to stop. i told both him and riddim how i got inside (using !unstuck) and that i never managed to harvest any fully grown drugs at all. i am requesting that my ban be lowered to 2w at the very least considering that others have been banned for the same time for doing 10x worse than what i have done. i have said what i needed to say, and i will kinda be bummed out if this appeal does get denied as i was looking forward to completing the halloween battlepass. Tyz37 Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 You exploited into sit land (an out of RP area) and made a small fortification with cameras (which I assume is to check to see if anyone sees it from a distance and comes to check it out so you can destroy the tilling plot growing drugs). You seem to have known what you were doing and you have access to the punishment guidelines. Exploiting is one of the most severe punishments that there are possible. If exploiting into sit land to gain money without having the possibility of being raided is only a small ban then why wouldn't more people try to just to earn their millions or transport racks of printers in while staff are not up there and hide them so that they can earn millions with basically a slap on the wrist. Additionally, people are normally given permission to come up and just build and hang out as long as staff are willing to hang out and keep an eye on them so they do not use entities. You have been a player for long enough to know how serious of a punishment exploiting is. 14 days and 9 hours is not a little bit of playtime and some people have been perm banned for exploiting. BrokenDown Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 So I seen you and sitland and went up to you and asked why you are they and you laughed so I asked if you need to be returned and you said "no" so then I asked who brought you there and you said no one, so from your answers I assumed that it was a serious matter between you and another moderator and I left it at that to give privacy to you and the moderator in the sit. I've seen you a lot in the server playing and not breaking any rules, maybe if you exploited into sitland and didn't proceed to spawn entities and attempt to make money safe from any players or any raiders, I think a ban is necessary here in this situation. I personally think a 6 month may be too harsh for something like this, a 2-4 week ban would be more appropriate in my personal opinion. Also due to the fact that when I first went up to you, you never said you exploited into sitland and that's how you got to where you were. I am PLUS ONE for a reduction but not a unban. You made an appeal right away and didn't blame anyone but yourself as well owning up to the mistake while still showing you want to participate in the server further. riddim Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 It was reported to me that you used the !unstuck command into sitland to farm entities, after asking for second opinions they were all for a 6 month. All things considered - You don't typically cause problems - You were honest and upfront in the sit ( just report it next time please ) - You don't have a history of exploiting Instead of just reducing your ban, I'll fully unban you and let you take this as an educational moment under the assurance that if you're caught doing this again it will be the full 6 months.
