Rping in a sit (Spawning a wheelchair)

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

As you can see in the link below, I was warned for basically spawning a wheelchair and driving away for like 10 feet. I do not think this is an educational approach, as it would have been preferrable to just tell me to refrain from doing that since there was no malicious intent, like i was legit just being silly. The sit was over I was about to get returned and the mod just decided to warn me then return me. I don't know man, I don't think this deserve a warn...

It is pretty clear to me that my appeal wasn't taken seriously and I do sense a pinch of bias. I would like more moderators to rethink the proper punishment as I still think my action did not deserve a warn... A warn was definitely not the proper approach for what I did.

I wont lie here that to be honest it looks like the appeal wasn't taken seriously and I def get that if the sits was over then its not really you roleplaying in a sit if it ended already. I will say that you should have known not to do it but if you didn't actually do it during the sit and only after the sit ended then I don't see why you would be warned. That's what I think at least but I will remain NEUTRAL until I see what others have to say for this. I will also say that people do this stuff all the time during sits with plenty of staff members and I never see them get warned, these are also players who have played for a bit and know better so I don't see why you would get warned for something that happened after the sit

 

Edit: I will be changing my vote to +1 for removal of the warn.

From what I see you weren't warned for doing "something silly" but rather the same thing over and over again. It sounds like you were educated on it, told to stop, then punished in that order. It's small, yes, but there's no reason to do something over and over again when told to stop. Here's what Etho had to say on the matter:

He's absolutely right, we often ban for FTC if someone does the same thing over and over again, and a warn is both more appropriate for your situation and more lenient towards you all things considered. You did, however claim Etho and other staff did not ever tell you, and I would like to hear more on that from the both of you. Also, yeah, the post could've gone without the jokes. I don't see a reason for that, and I'm sorry your appeal wasn't taken as seriously as it should have been, but you got a serious answer in the end, and I hope you're able to take that at face value. I wish there was something I can do to help you in regards to your previous appeal, but frankly nobody's gonna dig up a retired admin to call him unprofessional on a gmod server lol.

I could not have said it better myself, +1 for the removal of this warn. 
Furthermore I think we should choose education over punishment, and this is clearly not the case with this warn.

I will agree your previous appeal was taken more as a joke than anything else, I personally don't believe you should have been warned for this because you are allowed to spawn jeeps and boomboxes in sit land as long as you don't interfere in ongoing sits. 

 

Considering this was after the sit was over, I really don't see how this was deserving of a warn, or any punishment at all. According to the last appeal, the warning staff member warned you because it wasn't your first time doing it yet you have no warns/verbals for it and there wasn't even any evidence. Aside from being a previous staff member, a regular player ( which you were at the time ) wouldn't even know about not spawning entities in sit land.

This exactly. If it was during a sit the most I would've done is tell you to stop and force remove the vehicle. There's no reason (in my eyes) for you to have gotten warned in this scenario.

I was barely in a etho’s sit during his moderator arc. I don’t even know  I would do that over and over again knowing this would annoy staff members I don’t know where this is coming from

    Hello Yahya, I agree that this warn is a bit much, that is my personal thought. We always value education over punishment when it is applicable, and this is a prime example of when that could be put in play. If not that, the staff member could have just picked you up with their physgun and froze you. I personally have not ever given out a warn for FTC in this aspect, if someone is memeing in the sit and running away I always just freeze them, finish the sit, then send them back. I am a +1 for a removal/reduction to a verbal.
