Why were you banned or warned?

I was warned for RDM after I warned "MANNYKICKASS" *four* times for coming up to me. The context of this situation (as I don't have a recording of the actual killing, but I do have a link included with the logs of my four warns and then TELLING him I gave him an extra), is I was getting arrested by MANNY and other CP (mostly MANNY) for ANYTHING he could get on me. I don't care to pay bounties because quite frankly, a lot of the players that play cop are a pain and I don't want my money going to them. But besides that, he swepped over to FAPGOD and I while we were fishing at the beach island. A serial killer had come up to us, to which we both drew our guns just in case and talked. To my knowledge, FAPGOD warned through e menu and after a moment, killed him. The SK was now gone, but he swepped up to us, claiming that "he got a call" that there was a serial killer, but neither one of us had been kidnapped, so I'm not 100% sure how he knew they were near us. Regardless, he wasn't holding a phys gun or any item that I could personally see as a 'safe' item that won't negatively impact me (cuffs or a stun gun, for instance). As he was talking with Fapgod and looking between us, I began using the warn bind I have to warn him that he needed to back off because I wanted to get back to fishing without him being near us, as I had a 500 dollar bounty and know that MANNY will fine for that amount every time. I waited patiently, noticed he wasn't 100% looking towards me, so to be fair, I gave him an extra warn and an additional second or two to go away. He took a step towards me, whether that was suggesting a cuff or gunning was incoming I didn't care, I had warned four times, so I killed him.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I believe this warn is completely invalid. I might understand if I had no bounty and thus has no reason to think he was here for a malicious intention, but I followed all of the warn rules as per the server states them and more. I did not walk UP TO HIM, he came UP TO ME, I warned FOUR times when I only needed to warn him three, and as someone who claims to know the server rules, I'm not sure how he can claim this is RDM.

For reference, I DID tell him to call a sit, because it was my understanding that as long as you warn someone three times, and again, you can't just walk up to a player and warn them, which I did not do-- MANNY approached FAPGOD and I when we were trying to get AWAY from cops. I try to be very careful when it comes to killing other players because I do not like confrontation to these extents and would prefer staying out of sits if I can help it. Plus, there is no point in RDMing and causing issues on purpose, the staff have more than enough to deal with.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it either, because I could honestly just be a misinterpretation on my part, but there was encouragement in the chat to warn me because I am, as I quote the players in chat, "An avid rule breaker"-- which is also completely false. I hold no bans on my account, and all the warns I have are very minor infractions I have received due to either being new (my first warn), having a misunderstanding about how a particular rule functions, rushing to get a task done and not realizing someone was in the way, or simple forgetting that I quickly corrected and have not done again. I'm not sure if there was a level of peer pressure on Lean because of these comments in chat (by both staff and players alike), but it was unprofessional regardless.

The screenshots containing the warns I gave MANNYKICKASS in chat after he came up to FAPGOD and I. He claims RDM after, and he also claims he was here for the Serial Killer, which by this time had already been dead, and he should've left if that was truly his intention.

From what I understand you used the Warn advert because you were worried for your safety and being accosted by somebody. You were well within your rights to warn, and I don’t see a reason for this to be called RDM. I’ll hold off on a vote until logs are posted though if you wouldn’t mind sharing. 
 

EDIT: I don’t see enough evidence against you personally. I agree that it’s weird you didn’t report until days later. I’d like you to explain that please, because it really has me on the fence about giving you benefit of the doubt. 
 

Bottom line though my perspective is that everything you said has been confirmed by MANNYKICKSAS, and you had RP reason to warn/kill. I’d prefer that you let him try first, as it was two of you and it would avoid a grey area in the rules, but you were under no obligation to do so.

 

I’ve personally had this user chase me across half the map for my bounty, so I’m inclined to say it falls under common sense that a guy like that will want to fine you. Advert warns should be reserved mostly for defending your own property and avoiding things like serial killers, but I believe approaching cops can be considered to be a special circumstance in which this is allowed.

From my understanding in the sit is that this was an unprovoked warning that he was doing stuff before and you warned him to get away preemptively warned him so he did nothing. Thats what was declared in the sit but if this is untrue then I dont mind having the warn removed.

I was taking time to think about the situation and whether or not I deserved to actually be warned or it.

The problem is, it wasn't unprovoked. Like I said, if I didn't have a bounty at all it would've been different and I probably would've let him cuff him if he so choose because he would've had 0 reason to arrest me and thus it would be a risk on his part to screw around.

 

However since I had a 500 dollar bounty and we had already eliminated the serial killer he was claiming to be there for, he no longer had a real reason to stay. Also because of gmod's lovely decade old coding and textures, MANNY had a small swep of sorts in his hand. I am a glasses user, so I'm not exactly going to try and guess if he's holding cuffs. He wasn't looking towards me 100% during the first 2 warns, so after the third I added the fourth because it didn't feel fair to have him be warned and not have him KNOW he was being warned because I've had this exact thing happen to be before, unfortunately. Been warned when having a conversation with another player and then was shot down without realizing why. That's pretty much the #1 reason I added the fourth and final warned before I shot. Was trying to avoid THIS type of shit.

FAPGOD and I were fishing. He had his gun out too and was ready to shoot for the same reason. I'm not sure if he's on the discord but I could link him here for the confirmation from him that that was the case. He had killed the SK and MANNY was talking about that, but he was getting suspicious about MANNY and probably would've killed him first had he cuffed me first. He was quite literally there trying to keep me company and stay away from the aforementioned cops because on that day, I was xp grinding and again, kept getting stopped by Manny for EVERY small thing, hence why I felt so threatened. We were all I the same voice vicinity. He just wasn't addressing ME when he was talking because I wasn't in the mood for discussions as again, I'd been arrested a dozen times by him that day already.
