Went on a killing spree after being false arrested for the 10th time in a row, aimed for the cops doing the false arrests and a few got caught in the crossfire, probably killed 9 in total. Was banned for 7 days MRDM, reduced to 5 days after explaining the chaos mass arrest and harassment abuse going on in the PD. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I should have my sentence reduced to a couple days because the time in which I was banned I was singled out among chaos and worse culprits. I understand punishing MRDM, it is necessary, I also understand that two wrongs don't make a right, and going on a killing spree isn't a valid response to getting false arrested. What I don't understand is why the punishment to the PD offenders if far less than that of those who retaliated against them. I have been an active player, trying different jobs and contributing to the RP experience, I tried to run a bakery and got false arrested running to it 10 separate times. (even on sidewalk during J-walk AOS) At least half of the cops participated in these false arrests, one of their bans for over 20 false arrests was for 1 day, my ban for retaliating against them is 5 days. It takes all but 10 seconds for a cop to walk back to the PD after getting killed, it takes 10 minutes of my time getting false arrested. I did already have my sentenced reduced, and for that I am grateful, however I feel the ban is still not justified because the punishment isn't equal, I was singled out amongst many worse offenders, and was even reported on by a player who has been constantly harassing me. Which I understood. But I also explained to you in detail that there are so many more different avenues you could have explored before taking things into your own hands, like making a sit. In the 5 hours last night I spent taking a little over 100 sits, I do not believe I saw a sit from you from any sort of CP abuse. I also advised you to take RP action, like !unfun the mayor, !revolt, mayor's assassin, and whatever options are available to get the mayor and their laws removed. But at that point you decided to knowingly break the rules in an attempt to get even with the cops fining and arresting you. I said I understand how frustrating it can get. To see people break rules and abuse the system, going unpunished. But I also told you that just because they are doing it and getting away with it, does not mean you should do it. Because that'll only get YOU in trouble. At the end of the day you are responsible for your own actions. I also told you that it would be a ban, and you even agreed and mentioned you were okay with it. I even said I'd lower it to 5 days, instead of the normal 7. And you agreed to that too. Why tell me in the sit you were fine, especially with the reduced time, and then make an appeal? End of story. Hobo Dad could have made it 7 days. He instead made it 5, I'm gonna have to make my vote a -1 he's giving you a break already making it 5. Tyz37 Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 You had an issue and instead of calling a ticket for staff or a couple tickets a few minutes apart, you instead went and took it into your own hands by gunning down tons of people. If a rule is broken on you, it does not make you exempt from rules as well. This is why in the rules it says not to take punishments into your own hands. -1 as the ban is valid.
