Why were you banned or warned?

I joined the revolt and everyone was white. I didn't know why and thought it was a bug. So I just shrugged it off and ran to the PD. On my way there I ran into a police officer trying to arrest me. At first I thought it was a revolt member because everyone was white and I haven't been in a revolt in a week or two. So I thought it was a visual bug or glitch until he pulled his cuffs out. I killed the officer now confused as ever. (Keep in mind. This was on the stairs of the PD and I was in the PD during the time in the revolt). I was on my guard and couldn't tell friend from foe. I open the door to be greeted by three individuals glowing white. I shot and killed the person on instinct and out of a scared/jump scare reaction. But when I saw their name/roll it was too late. I truly thought they were a police officer in disguise and tried to explain to them the glitch or bug. The man didn't listen or want to hear my explain and did a vote ban.

I reached out to him pissed and sent my evidence. The man accused me of doing it on purpose and changing the colors to white.

(Is that Possible if so.. I don't even know how to do it. All I did was miss spell revolt and tried to join the revolt by typing /joinrevolt "!joinrevolution" "!joinrevolt". Keep in mind I haven't joined one in two weeks and the last revolt I was in everyone was their correct colors).
(This was before the Gmod annual update that they throw at you without warning).

(Nothing was out of Sync too or Icloud Sync)

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I believe I should be unban due to it being a sheer accident. I don't know how to change it nor I did. You can check logs to see if I changed it right then and there. All I did was struggle to type join revolt and everything was white.
I killed the man due to reflex and a jump scare as I was onguard. I couldn't tell who was who or who team they were on since there are player disguises or the undercover cop. Since they can disguise their role and all. It was truly an accident and misunderstanding too.

(I just confirmed with a staff member that you can change it but neither He or I know how to change it. You can check my logs and everything. I did not change it today or this week at all).

(( If I joined a revolt this week then it didn't last. I don't remember the last time I joined a revolt but I know it has been a while))

I know one hour is nothing but I would love to keep my ban record clean. I do not wish to have any ban records.. This was truly an accident.

The way you approached me after i validly votebanned you for rdming me during the revolt doesnt help you at all. And i did and will continue to accuse you of changing your revolt colors, judging by your report on mannco, you like to do things to bait people into doing something. I am well aware how to change my revolt colors. With how common revolts are the chances of your colors changing to white on both sides randomly is so slim and it never being a problem that has been reported. I would’ve heard you out if you didnt act like a baby after i votebanned you. And your chances would’ve increased more if an actual bug where you dont see any team colors happened. Even looking past all of this, it was still an rdm which i can voteban you for

Not staff but just as a rule of thumb from when I was staff, you should make a player report instead of an appeal, the bans are only 30 minutes so its very unlikely you will see an unban from the appeal and after 30 minutes seeing you being unbanned will lead to your appeal probably getting closed, I'd suggest requesting a moderator to close this appeal along with reposting this as a report if you still want something done about it.

yeah pretty much this. the vote was valid though, idk why your cops and revolters are set to the same color. I've never heard of a bug like that, the colors are set to blue/dark blue for cops and mayor and red/orange for revolters and revolt leaders by default iirc so at some point you had to have changed that. the voteban was valid and it has expired, so I'll go ahead and deny this.
