I quickly realized it was an active raid, and swiftly backed up. Understandably, he began firing at me, but I got away and healed. Then, after about 30 seconds I got onto a nearby roof and killed him. This must have set him off, as moments later he jail tp'd me and began telling me I couldn't kill him because I wasn't in the base owner's party? (1) I reminded him, if somehow he forgot, that he had dumped ~10 bullets into me when I approached the base (2) and therefor legally allowed to retaliate. He then claimed that he use kill in console (3) (for some reason?) and then returned, claiming that it reset his KOS. At first, I thought it was fishy. But I suppose it wasn't entirely against the rules. I then went on to tell him that by defending the area (by shooting at me when I approached the base he was seemingly raiding) he WAS RAIDING. He then changed his story and claimed that he thought I was inside the base coming out, which then I again reminded him, STILL MEANS HE IS RAIDING. After this ordeal, I looked into the logs. Specifically the death logs. I found that he completely bullshitted about suiciding as the last time he did suicide was 8 minutes before our entire encounter. (4) After discovering this, I PM'd him and requested a word with him, asking again, did you commit suicide? He continued to bullshit, even saying that "those things don't disappear from the logs". He went through as well, and came out with nothing. We continued to talk about the encounter and eventually he admitted that he DID raid (5). I'm making a report here today because as of recent I've seen too much behavior like this from some staff members. Curtailing rules hoping the player is oblivious to logs questioning their verdict, just because they are staff. Shit Ass had no right to jail TP me following my kill on him, and that is why I am here. Sentences above that are followed with numbers 1-5 are corresponding to links I will post below. Shit Ass Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 You're right I did bring you out of anger( not really anger just more annoyed to the fact that you lied and said you wouldn’t kill me during my raid) and I do admit I was wrong about suiciding however that wasn’t a lie, I just was retarded and in the heat of the moment remembered suicide even tho I didn’t. Walter the Assaulter Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I actually somewhat already talked to him about this since he was talking about it in staff chat. He was operating under a false assumption due to a sit he was in before he became staff where he was verbally warned for basically doing what you did. We've also informed him to be more careful when it comes to reading logs since he apparently thought he suicided but didn't. You also probably shouldn't jailtp over something like that since it comes off as kind of aggressive. Also please don't taunt people if you think they're in the wrong, just make the report.
