Fix the MP5 Model and Console Errors.

I would love to use this weapon as it fires nice and well but it just creates so much console spam / Client Lag while using it.


Make so a hobo can place a barrier to build in, so that if someone tries to go in it kicks them out just likes the fight club thing.

 

Seems like it would easily be abused by dropping it in a high populated area to minge.

Make the undercover job more undercover. I mean undercover job is too obvious that ur an undercover.

 

Also, make it so that the undercover can advert PD Raid to blend in with the raiders while waiting for the right moment to strike.

 

I have a suggestion in kidnapping, when a kidnapper knocks out a cp, the kidnapper can steal the cp's radio and the kidnapper can hear pd activity.

 

Add something that will let cp free kidnapped people other than having to kill them.

 

Make it so that handcuffs can be lockpicked by other players to set you free.

He can probably already do that, nothing in the rules saying he can't. You're undercover do what you gotta do to stay undercover

 

I can't really do this as it would be too performance intensive

 

I can make it so the nonlethal, if used on a player who is kidnapped has a chance to wake up

 

You have been able to lockpick handcuffs for a while now. If they don't work then let me know but someone said a few weeks ago that they had no clue you were able to do that

 

 

Make a optional workshop addon that has the normal textures and not the optimize ones on the server right now.

 

I don't think it works like that. You can try but it will always use the materials on this server I think. You can try disabling all workshop content and then downloading each PM individually for high res

 

Add a radio dj job with maybe 3-5 slots. 

 

Make anyone be able to buy a radio and select your channel on the radio which would be made by the radio DJ. 

The radio DJ can put down a station. He can name his channel whatever he wants. When radio station has music playing, every radio on the map with the selected channel can hear the music. Also maybe add like a proximity chat to the radio station so when the radio dj clicks "Voice" button on the radio, everyone with the radio with the selected channel will hear his voice like you would hear on a real radio.

 

A lot of radio's in this one.

 

I made a radio job a while back but it didn't work too well. I can revisit it and check it out

 

Add a some kind of clean up to remove destroyed props.Some retards place a 100 computers,destroy them and now we have a laggy part of the map which you need to relog to remove. If the owner of the props relog he wont see them but others will.

 

I think I can set a value to remove gibbed parts immediately which I will see if I can do

 

Make it where ebola is more rare, and add hunger so that the crops that are made actually do something, so people have to eat.

Make the alien race take less damage from disguising, like half Hp.

 

Make medicine, so that if you eat the poop made from crops you become sick, and need to take medicine.

 

Make a cook that can cook the food from crops together and make better foods, and make more foods that the crops can make.

 

Make a brewer that can make alcohol and can setup a bar, and sell his beer, and other alcohol.

 

 These are some suggestions i came up with while playing.

 

The reason there are crops is because there is a cook job coming in with the big update

 

I think there was a reason they were set to 1 hp but 50 sounds reasonable

 

Who the heck is dumb enough to eat poop, have you eaten poop b4?

 

The cook job can create their own food

 

I am not sure if I want another cook-ish job but maybe

 

Make it so NON mods can go view damage logs to see who attacked them/hit them. It makes sits more efficient also can help tell who was attempting to RDM you if you didn't know where they were shooting.

 

non mods have lite logs because every player would need the information networked to them. You guys do actually have damage logs of who hit you and who hit you with what but it should say 1 damage

 

fix p90 fire rate

 

The damage on it is very low as well. 14 dmg with average fire rate is just not viable, +1 for a change!

 

I don't really know how its so slow, it's a lot faster than the default rifles but I will increase it more

Actually non mods don't have access to see who hit them not even 1 dmg shown. We can see who WE hit but not who hit US

I kinda like the sit bubble idea. It'd keep outside bullshit to a minimum while doing a sit.

Big list of suggestions 

 

General Job Quality of Life Changes 


  •  
  • Make jobs have their own "buy" section. AKA, Chemical Engineer – Alchemey, instead of reagents being in other, it will have its own section for easier organization. 
     
  • Remove filler jobs that offer no unique experiences or change them. 

 

Job QOL / Changes 

Bank Manager 


  •  
  • At the moment it is lackluster, I don't see players play it often – maybe because how it works isn't explained in game thoroughly? People don't deposit money a lot. 
     
  • Add more details in game on how it works. 
     
  • Let VIPs have a higher donation cap, say to 150k-200k? 

 

Chemical Engineer 


  •  
  • Make reagents not shrink. Sometimes they disappear in the ground. If not, add a "Clean up Reagents" which removes all reagents you have on the map. 
     
  • Possible to add reagents + Recipe on the same page 
     
  • Instead of Reagents being listed in the table, have it say Gasoline(5) instead of Gasoline, Gasoline, etc. 
     
  • Possible "Quick Brew" option. Say you want 100 mini potions, place all the ingridients required for it, set the amount of potions to brew. 
     
  • Explanation of what potions do in game somewhere 

 

Gambler  


  •  
  • Seems like a filler job. I don't see anyone doing "Winner of Roulette gets double their money". 
     
  • Remove russian roullette.

Lawyer 


  •  
  • Seems like a filler job. I can be a citizen, change my job name to lawyer, I'd be the exact same thing as a lawyer besides the model. 
     
  • Give the Lawyer an unarrest stick + A faster than normal lockpick. Cannot raid, purpose is to break people out of jail and get paid for it. Possible to add a "hitman" like system, where player pays for them to be broken out, if lawyer unarrest them then they get the money. 

 

 

Gun Dealer / Black Market Dealer 


  •  
  • Buying guns from these guys seems... Useless. The black market dealer is "somewhat" useful as you can buy harder to get items like the C4. 
     
  • Remove high end guns from processors. Make a weaker C4 buyable from the blackmarket, and add the stronger C4 to the processor. Make it extremely rare.  

 

Bounty Hunter  


  •  
  • Spas you spawn with is terrible. Replace it with something else or buff it. 
     
  • Retrieving a bounty list is too random. Would rather see Bounty Hunters being able to pick bounties off a list. Would make them much more of a threat to high bounty players + add competion for other bounty hunters. 

Police 

 

Police IMO need a complete overhaul to how they work. There should be more "normal cops" and less super MLG 360 god seal sixtasma cops. People will ALWAYS pick swat or anything above the "standard" police jobs like CP / CP Lead, etc. Because they are simply better.

  • Saw this on a server, would have to find it. Police had different stat values. You talk to a npc and pick your Strength, Agility, Stamina. Depending on what you picked, it gave you a specific job. So having high strength + stamina would give you a swat sniper or something. Also makes CP's more of a threat as they are stronger then normal players, which they should be. 
     
  • Add a CP whitelist or only allow ANY CP job after x amount of time on the server. People who like to RDM pick a CP job and just kill everyone. Make it that you have to be on for x time to even be able to pick a CP class. 
     
  • If none of the CP classes get removed, add time restrictions to all police jobs. That way veteran players could pick SWAT and newer players could only pick CP. 

 

Raiding the PD needs to be changed. Players have too many tools to disrupt / attack police officers. !Revolt should be only be used against the mayor that players don't like. People use it now randomly for shits and giggles with stupid reasons. Make it to where to revolt, a moderator has to be on to accept the revolt and verify that it is a valid revolt. When revolting, one player randomly gets picked as the mayor assassin.

  • Raiding the PD is just used IMO as a tool to kill freely. I rarely see people actually "rob the bank" or "break people out of jail". When it does happen, NLR is just rampant. Once the new map comes out I am guesisng the bank will be somewhere else, so this won't be an issue. 
     
  • Add a police armory. Remove all the extra "SWAT MLGSNIPER" "SWAT BIG ENFORCER SHOTGUNNER". The only difference between the jobs are different guns. Let them pick their own guns. 

 

Police K9 


  •  
  • Increased Bite damage, relatively low. 
     
  • No guns at all. I see some use them. 
     
  • Add a "Sniff" which in a certain radius highlights drugs / planters on the map. 

 

Mayor  


  •  
  • Should be housed seperately from the police station. 
     
  • When a new mayor is elected, anyone that is still mayors assassin should get switched to normal citizen. People just stay as an assassin and hide in the pd until there is a new mayor. 

Bank Heister 


  •  
  • Make it so they are the only ones allowed to raid the bank. I see other people do it not on this job all the time. Have the money evenly split between all players as the bank heist class. 

Thief Related Jobs 


  •  
  • Remove Demo, Emperor, Explosive Spec, Hacker, Infiltrator, Mugger. 
     
  • Add a "Generic Thief" with the ability to mug and spawns with a lockpick. This means for other tools of raiding, you'll have to buy it from the black market dealer, which makes it useless otherwise. 

 

Hazmat 


  •  
  • IMO, Should be merged with medic. 

 

Terrorist 


  •  
  • Give terrorist an objective instead of just killing everyone. Add a "Bomb" that they can plant. The bomb is in the middle of map. Terrorist have to defend bomb for x amount of minutes. If the bomb explodes, it destroys all props, money printers, processors, etc.

Thanks for the massive list of suggestions lets see if I can hit them:

 

After the gang update, the F4 menu and Scoreboard will get their own overhaul. I despise how it looks right now. Once I put my own in place it will be a lot easier to do this

 

Filler jobs are being reworked for the gang update one at a time. I think some of them can offer some really unique experiences if done right

 

Bank Manager is kinda hard to get people to play. You do just sit there and rack up cash when people decide to invest in your bank. I don't know what else it would do that doesn't make it stationary. Maybe I can think of something.

 

I have no clue why alchemy recreants shrink. It's one of the last addons in the server that isn't mine. I think it's really janky and could use a serious overhaul. Regardless, I have stopped the size from being decreased on the models

 

Gambler is a filler job. Some of the jobs in the server have no purpose and were added a VERY long time ago. People really want a real gambling system but I don't think it's worth the effort as of right now since Gambling doesn't offer anything to RP in a way (thats my own opinion but of course at some point we will have some sort of gambling)

 

The Lawyer does have a purpose believe it or not. You can press E on the lawyer and bail people out of jail. I forget if the player does this or if the lawyer opens up a menu. I will have to see if it actually works. The lawyer will be getting an overhaul when Judge Gabe gets an overhaul (there is a courtroom in the new map) and we can have some really silly court cases.

 

 

Buying guns seem useless mainly due to Custom Classes. Long into the server's lifetime I realized it was a bad idea to implement them which in turn makes guns really easy to get to avoid a big difference in obtaining weapons since CC's spawn with them every death (no matter the weapon they have it is just a reskin of a current gun in the game but its still unfair to spawn with it every death). If that didn't answer your question then let me know

 

The bounty hunter was created pretty fast. Its purpose to was allow a randomized way of getting a bounty because it felt like it fit. I can add a perk into the game or talent in the upcoming gang update that allows you to pick your bounty

 

Some people think the Spas is the best weapon in the game for some reason. It's actually just a reskined M3 shotgun since it used to be a left over CC weapon from a perma banned user

 

I understand you with CP. I was thinking of adding in a ranking system to determine which CP you can play but I don't know if that would hurt gameplay in some cases. What would be the perks of being able to play other cop classes? I do want to rework / remove some of the cop classes because a lot of them do the same thing and or like you said, why would you ever pick the lower end cops.

 

The stat thing for CP sounds interesting

 

Some CP and some jobs do require a playtime of 2 hours I think. No all of them but I can look into seeing if restricting them is a good idea

 

In the new map, raiding PD should feel a lot different. The PD is huge and offers a lot more than just a single shower room

 

You can't just raid PD. I assume when people raid PD it is for the vault. I personally think that if there is no personal gain from raiding an area then it shouldn't be allowed (hence why you can't raid bases which are open and have nothing in them). The PD will have nothing in it so there is no point to raid it. (Unless the mayor has bitminers or something)

 

The Police K9 can sniff drugs, the player will pulse if they are drugged and or you can view drugs behind walls

 

The mayor assassin switching is a good idea

 

I don't know if I can do that for the bank heister but I think a really good idea is to make it so that job gets 100% of the cash and anyone else gets a significantly less amount, like 25%

 

I think the demolitionist is a good job for people as it can do crazy stuff and it's a free job. It allows people who are poor to compete with people with a bunch of C4

 

Emperor can be removed, I was going to make a counter argument but he doesn't offer anything

 

Hacker is revamped in the update

 

Explosive Specialist is 100% usesless, don't know why its in there

 

Infiltrator can go somewhat invis, I see this job get played so I don't think I will remove it right away

 

I can decrease the mug time for the mugger for now until I think of something else to do with him

 

Hazmat scans people for Ebola and gives cures to people and I think offers a different experience to not be grouped with the medic

 

The terrorist idea is interesting. I can probably think of something else that won't make everyone log off immediately that offers something cool.

Maybe make it so you can deposit and withdraw money from the f4 menu but have a higher percentage when withdrawing from it then if you did it in person. Also maybe have like a profile system that would show how many times the current banker has been rob in the pass and how long they have been a bank manger total as a rep system.

Here's some more interesting things for police. I enjoy police roleplay more then I do other roleplay. It's like being a moderator, but actually doing something. (I joke.)

The cool thing is, is that hackers can hack the computer and add warrants / remove warrants etc.

 

https://www.gmodstore.com/scripts/view/2026 - Police bation. Pretty sure you could make this on your own though. Combines the unarrest / stunstick / arrest stick in want. Also adds a quick warrant option as well. (Looking at door ways, etc).

I think police officers *should* make more money or have alternatives to making money. People buying stuff from the PD and fining is cool and everything. Playing police is great, but if I want to make a custom class, I might as well do something else.

 

Also note - the lawyer / k9 in game says nothing about being able to bond people out or sniff drugs. I didn't even know about that until you said it.
