I don't read every single rule when I join any Gmod server or discord server because I'm generally a nice guy, I don't really break the rules. I just recently started DarkRP and Gmod in general so I wouldn't know every single rule to a fault, hell I didn't even know NLR was even a thing people do it all the time and I don't think anything of it. I just know some basic base building tips and rules such as the 3 door rule. I also know from experience that you can't raid a base that has a "building" text in front of it from another admin sit i'd had with yike when my friend had raided a base without my knowledge when I was beside him outside the apartment in the F4 menu. I decided I wanted to customize my apartment too after some thinking and placed a building sign outside of it and placed down some entities to make money while I did it (this was after the server reboot I had been on the server for a while before but all stuff was lost in reboot). I then noticed that one of my entities was making a fair bit of noise so I decided to go down to the street near where it made the most noise and played some music on a boombox to mask the noise just to avoid any troublemakers wanting to investigate the noise. I saw Tyz jump up to the floor my apartment was on so I decided "Hey I should get up there and start building my base just in case of a misunderstanding happening" because I wasn't building and I thought I could possibly get in trouble for it. I started building when Tyz shot down my door and proceeded to kill me. I thought "hey! What's up with that? Whys the admin killing me for no reason and raiding my base?" and then me and Tyz had an admin sit where I had explained to him that I don't read every rule I just get a general idea of what the rules are and follow them to the best of my ability. I now understand that when I try a new game mode and try to do something complex such as base building I should probably read ALL of the rules so I know what not to do. I feel that this whole thing is a misunderstanding and ask for an appeal on my ban or at least just a reduction for the confusion.

So, essentially from the MOTD having any form of raidables with a building sign up is against the rules.

You admitted to having a building sign up while simultaneously having entities, and your reasoning for each action makes me feel a degree of intent was involved. I feel your ban should be reduced but mass nlr on itself for a newer player is usually a warn but you also attempted to use building sign as a decoy to farm money peacefully without being raided. It's not my ban but I will just be giving a +1 to reduction to like 1 day

I was never forwarded the appeal so that is my bad for not seeing it sooner. Thank you for making an appeal. I am willing to reduce the ban to one day as i do understand that there are a lot of rules. please read through the MOTD when you return and look through the sections that will potentially affect you (I.E. NLR, Raiding, etc). Also for reference, mass breaking any rule is a seven day ban and the breaking of three NLR while your base was being raided is what resulted in it being upped to one week originally (even though I explained it during the sit but just wanted to point it out once again. Please follow the rules when you return!
