Bruhther
In-Game Name Bruhther Your Steam ID STEAM_0:0:448893485 Why were you banned or warned? Prop abuse | already warned Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? It was not clear to me that I was ever given a verbal warning. Even now the only thing I would consider a verbal warning was when fuel said "This could be prop surfing" in the titsrp. general vc. I was never brought to a sit or told to just stop what I was doing. I think it was unfair i was not brought to a sit and it should have been made more clear before I got a banned. all that happened before i was banned was skii told me to tell lilcheezit that he pm'd him and then i was banned in game. Who warned/banned you? LilCheezIt How long were you warned or banned for? 2 days
Payanskii
You were live streaming. Us watching, Fuel told you to stop. I told you to stop. You responded to that by still trying to do that hamster ball glitch. Me and Fuel were both in the call telling you that it was prop abuse, and that you had to stop. You didn’t. End of story. You should know better. -1
Fuel
Many times in the past you've done this, i've warned you it's prop surf. You did the hamster ball as 'demonstration' when we already know what it is. I told you that is considered prop surf and not to do it. After the fact, you kept asking is it exploiting, by pasting your 'rubber band ball' and getting yourself stuck inside it, so it would launch you up. Obviously prop abuse. You should know better. If it were an accident, i'ld be more forgiving. But the fact you continued to do it over and over after we told you, it is considered prop abuse and surf, shows me that you clearly wouldn't listen to our VERY loose verbal. Now LilCheezIt should've brought you to a sit, but don't argue the fact you were not warned to stop. It is with all said above, I will be -1ing this appeal. Jewann
I have a lot of problems with the way this was handled. First, your "verbal warning" was done in the way of a discord conversation. I have talked to Bruhther, and he was very uncertain at the time of the warning that he was actually being warned. This was probably confusing because he was never brought to a sit, and never told that it was a verbal warning, or directly to stop what he was doing. Second, he was banned while roaming the map, and was never brought to a sit before a 2 DAY BAN. This is repulsive to me as our sit guidelines say "DON’T ban without giving necessary time for the person to explain themselves. Even if they are Mass RDMing. Everyone has the right to defend themselves." I believe something that lead to this was the fact that Skii was the one who really made the entirety of the decision of bruhther being banned, but he was not online, so he made a moderator act as a proxy for him which i believe should not have happened in this case. Our staff team values education over punishment, and our goal is to teach the players how to follow the rules. I believe Skii proved this was not his objective when fuel suggested a 12 hour - 24 hour ban at most because Fuel believed that was all that was necessary, and with no better explaination than "he got a verbal" skii said it had to be a 2 day ban. There was obviously also no attempt at educating the player when they were banned without being brought to a sit. The banning staff was also very uninvolved in the situation, and CheezIt's only input was that he was doing what he was told. We are a staff team, other staff members are not supposed to just be blind followers to each other. You should have had a thorough discussion of what was happening with the banning staff, and they should have understood the reason behind the ban. This is very far from what happened. Another reason I do not believe that this ban was in good faith is because you decided to ban somebody who was doing something that did not harm any other player in any way (nobody made a sit on bruhther) and nothing was gained by doing this (bruhther didn't use the prop to help him rob the bank or anything like that). Bruhther was simply having a bit of fun with something that happens to technically be against the rules, with no intention of harming anybody, and instead of giving him clear guidance in the right direction, he is now not able to play the game for two days, is not able to have fun for two days because you decided that that was the right punishment for him to receive for having a bit of fun. I believe that the handling of this situation was awful, and the banning of the user was done simply to enforce rules for the sake of enforcing rules that exist, and in no way to make the server better. Nobody is better off / happy that bruhther was banned for this. This is probably the biggest +1 I will ever give to a ban appeal.
Payanskii
I was told he was bought into a sit for the hamster ball prop surfing, so I requested a 2 day ban for “multiple prop abuse punishments”. You weren’t bought into a sit for it. When I banned you I had in mind that it was the 3rd time you were doing it whilst you being asked to stop. As I am the one who banned him. I will be ACCEPTING I apologize for the lack of communication between us staff members. Ban shortened to 12 Hours.
