That I should surely be banned, and that I am completely unredeemable from this server and should not be allowed back in. You're probably going to feel as if I'm a troublemaker, and that I deserve a ban. As of tonight, I was banned for killing a player as the sewer lord while I was above ground. In this particiular instance, a victim was chased out of the sewers and into the streets where they died, and a few other unlucky individuals got caught in the crossfire. One of the qualities many of us love about this server, is that it sounds like you pride yourself on building a server that is free of Mass RDM and enforces rules for everyone to follow to the T. However, in this individual scenario, the rules were not clearly written or stated. If you look through the forms, or if you read the server rules, one of the interesting things you can see is that there is no clear or explicit language in either the server rules or the job description stating that the sewer lord is not able to RDM outside of the sewers. One of the key downsides to coming out of the sewers as you know is the fact that you take significant damage and are slowed greatly when outside of the sewers when attempting to catch a victim. It seems as if this mechanic in itself was implemented specifically to slow down the sewer lord when coming out of the sewers to make it difficult, yet not impossible for them to catch a victim who barely escapes. While I apologize if someone got caught in the cross fire of this - on principle if this is a bannable offense it is not clearly stated anywhere that you are not allowed to chase individuals out of the sewers and hunt them down. I don't believe the individual who banned me was intentionally attempting to not enforce the rules as written, however I was never given a proper sit or a chance to explain the situation, which is why I have appealed here. It seems like you want to make sure individuals who break the rules are banned from TitsRP. What do you hope to accomplish by banning someone who is attempting to follow the rules of their role as they are written? Axiom Posted May 14, 2020 Share Posted May 14, 2020 Although im not mod anymore, i do know you. You always have the intention to rp when your in game and i think your appeal clearly shows this. I can also understand the frustrations you put into writing this. Ive never seen you this upset in game. I hope the staff team takes a careful look into this appeal. Although you were in the wrong, by killing others above ground, i can see what you were getting at. I dont think i would have even banned you for mass rdm. You PUNCHED THESE PEOPLE ABOVE GROUND WHILE BURNING and they couldnt defend themselves? Yeah something just doesnt seem right to me. Let alone anyone could have informed you in game as it was happening instead of out right banning you. Thats just my two cents and I ask that other staff dont warn me for giving it. Walter the Assaulter Posted May 14, 2020 Share Posted May 14, 2020 Given that the job description states in two places that you are to kill people underground and in the sewers and says nothing about killing above ground, your argument doesn't make a lot of sense. The hitman job says I can kill people I have hits on, but it doesn't say I can't kill people I don't have hits on because it details when I am allowed to kill people, and not a single person has ever legitimately thought that it not stating that means you can kill anyone. The CP job doesn't state I shouldn't arrest people who aren't breaking the law because it says when I am allowed to arrest people, and nobody has ever thought you can just arrest someone for no reason because the rules and job description are clear that you just arrest when people break the law. You also claim you were never given a proper sit or explanation. Given you were intentionally mass RDMing and attempting to loophole I believe it's self explanatory. I'm unsure of how you are unsure of your ban despite you being able to write 7 paragraphs describing in great detail what you were banned for.
