Description: Getting weapons through trading stacks the weapon ontop of upgraded versions of that weapon

 

How to reproduce: Get a Legendary/Epic/Rare version of a gun and then get a normal version of that same gun. Then trade the normal one to someone and have them trade it back. https://plays.tv/video/5c1b16f3a9840d27bc/gmod-weapon-stacking-bug

This bug is very anoying. I know this has been reported before but i am done with losing expensive weapons because of this bug. RIP Silenced Sniper   :'(

The real question is, does that gun stay legendary/epic/rare after being stacked?

no it essentially deletes the weapon since enchanted guns cannot be stacked, if u use it and holster back it will return as 1 gun

Actually, this should've been classified as high priority because you were actually able to dupe money if you had the sell from your inventory perk

That doesn't work. Even if you sell it, it will only give you the money for 1 legendary. This was a visual bug that essentially deleted your weapon stack.

 

Thanks for the reproduction steps too. I wasn't able to reproduce this because I kept on trading the legendary and it would never stack.

 

This should be fixed though, let me know if there are any other issues
