  1. http://prntscr.com/i9l9hj http://prntscr.com/i9l9vv Basically those guidelines are there to help players help staff. Repeat it the 213900th time staff sometimes just can't take everything and in the big picture would you rather have staff that burn out after 2 weeks or sometimes not have your sit instantly taken. If your sit is consistently not taken or ignored you can report the player with proof on the forums or you are just not following the sit guidelines.
  2. This is true but clarifying where the concerns come from is important so that Sugar can take into account what exactly he is changing if something similar is being implemented. Protection for newer and averagre players is important imo but it can probably be implemented better. I can suggest that for example buffing lower tiers of money making like buffing the base speed of the first level of bitminers and giving the upgrades some diminishing returns would be a good change for newer players or making entities not being able to be picked up by pickup boxes for something like 30 minutes after being spawned to help those newer players and protect from the elitists. Or just increase the despawn timer simply put although finding the perfect timer can be hard. Bad mindset since there should be rewards for taking risks like investing in harder raids, you shouldn't be punished for it. Risk-reward system and all that.
  3. I personally don't think that people who just don't raid should comment on what is or isn't worth it in terms of raiding and from my experience this doesn't look like it will be a healthy way to raid for processors or printers. There are 3 tiers of raiding imo and this change has different effects on all of them. Noob tier, this is where you only need to shoot the guy after doing a material grenade then lockpicking or blowtorching. This will not see much change since its mostly reliant on aim and angles with little tono investment. 1 c4 tier, this is where you start needing to invest to raid if not using spooky blowtorch angles etc. This takes the biggest nerf since most of the time these bases have from 1 to usually a maximum of around 7 processors. If you raid a base with only 2 processors where 2 people are basing there is a pretty big risk that if the people can despawn their processors in 2 hours you're betting big that you will get returns assuming that you constantly keep tabs on the processors big base. This also took a smaller hit since most of the time it's just people who've sold their processors and left, reference the anecdotes from diagonal and griffin and the risks you are taking are generally the same as before just that the owner can most likely despawn their processor if they choose to relog The main issue is that Tier 2 is usually the majority of basers when the scene isn't dead like it is now, that means that the biggest change where you are genereally taking more risks than the big bases regarding profit that makes it just not worth it. There is no such thing as skill based raiding since the foundation is experience and then comes aim. I think that this will definetly make it so the regular user will feel more protected against big bad elitists which seems to be the theme in upcoming and recent updates but it's very easy to make the risk too high to even care about raiding the average base since it will not yield enough reliable profit. An important note is also that when I am raiding I am expecting to in general have better returns if succesful rather than buying a processor which has way less risk involved (with the chagne you are guaranteed atleast 4 hours of farming which is something you aren't getting from raiding) I don't think I articulated my points too well here but I am coming from a point of view where I haven't bought processors for months and only raid for them, I think that this is at least a risky change regarding raiding for processors and unless the market changes as to how distributed processors are it can turn out very bad.
  4. So what you're saying is that gang wars should be fixed? I agree.
  5. Saying that it doesn't discourage raiding is fair but in the long run it isn't WORTH raiding for processors since a c4 is worth 150k and a blowtorch if lost is 400-500k, if players can despawn their processors most of the time if you've raided someone who's based a realistic 1-2 hours you probably won't make the money you spent raiding back if they despawn it when the timer is done. Now if its just not worth raiding there is no reason to do it. Also remember that this is only if you are going to make your money back, not if you are going to get profit from it.
  6. People just hate cops. IMO the only thing that needed to be changed on cp was the jugger, all other mechanics from start of gang update were fair imo. If people can instacuff without cooldown its fair that people can kidnap with 30 sec cooldown down from 2 minutes. While jugger is something that is almost impossible to deal with, the nerfs to the minigun were appreciated but in practice they made it so that it only takes 1 more bullet to kill someone from full armor and the only real way to fight a jugger is to snipe them from absurd distances (4 hits from awp kills him). Again this is only my opinion but I think that the only real problem was dealing with the juggernaut rather than someone cuffing you with instacuff. I'm gonna give you all a protip when kidnapped. If you really don't want to be kidnapped you just do /unbox until you get 1. russian roulette (shows up as shovel when unboxing) 2. brick 3. sbc cannon and kill yourself with it.
  7. No reason to farm processors if people can despawn them. No reason to raid processors if the person you raided can despawn them. Bad change.
  8. I agree, the things I think made this happen are: Gang update release which made people go for xp rather than base Processor drops were nerfed by 25% when the selling shipments change happened Results from processors were diluted with all the m9k weapons that came People bandwagon really hard, if only a few people are basing chances are most people won't either Basing with processors got nerfed pretty hard and doing xp is probably more fun for most people so that way people will prioritize xp over making money
  9. Random weapon checks doesn't feel like RP in the same manor that randomly arresting for suspected weapons isn't RP. I usually want a reason for people to weapon check like these examples: checkpoints mandatory weapon check when being fined walking into pd gives police right to weapon check Having a weapon out. There are several ways to make weapon checks more healthy roleplay and random weapon checks just don't feel like rp at all since the police have no rp reason to weapon check which differs from other annoying laws like jaywalking, speed limit and no fly area where the player can control ther action to not get detained.
  10. Nice try with the cover up.
  11. Het Tact! I see you have alot of money, do you want to donate me some for my first CC? I just got VIP :D

  15. In north korea practicing religion is the death sentence, if they were to revolt and overthrow the government they could remove that law. TitsRP is a similar case. I agree tho the "curfew" thing is really bad. Maybe have a time limit on lockdowns?

  22. I agree scamming is easy as gun dealer
  23. It's RP, if you don't like the law you can revolt against the mayor and its not really hard to walk on the sidewalks. There are several more laws that are annoying that didn't become the scapegoat so stop complaining about jaywalking and play the game
  24. When the server is dead I have fun by 1v1'ing mass rdmers (before they get banned :'c)
