This new rule that was edited in the motd makes it allowed for CP to essentially gun down any player shooting at another player. It feels like the wrong type of cop player is gonna take this an an excuse to immediately KOS any player shooting at another player, essentially turning thus into a deathmatch server What do you guys think about this change?

Cops running around and checking crowds of people was exactly what was happening with the law in place, Cp checkpoints or inside pd i'd definitely see as a good Rp reason to check for illegal shit but simply having the law random weapon checks does not promote good roleplay imo

I was told random weapon checks is NOT covered under this rule. The 3+ years ive played this server, random weapon checks have never been allowed under this rule

This discussion is over, Cp require a warrant regardless of the circumstances as stated by the MOTD. The point of the discussion was to clear that up, it has been cleared up.

It was Rped, i made a ransom call to give me money or the cp will be executed, Rp is not just running up in there and arresting everyone inside, especially with no warrant. Since were disregarding the rule about needing warrants why not just remove it entirely and go back to how the server used to be played before the rule was added

Ill say it again, the rules are there for a reason, Doors open or not, its your base and your property, the rules dont just suddenly stop applying to certain circumstances just because you say so. Staff refer to the motd for whats allowed and whats not, except for this one rule about warrants? Get real dude, the rules are there for a reason.

Maybe that should be added to the MOTD as i see nothing in there regarding this, youve been here (in the community) a while and im sure you remember the server being played this way for a long time until the rule i quoted above was added. What this sounds like to me is people have to just guess what is allowed and whats not allowed considering we turn a blind eye to some of the rules written depending on circumstances which are only "known" by certain people who barely even play on the server.

Definition of Raiding: Having the intent to invade another person's home. Whether you're being harmful or not, trespassing someone else's house should be considered a raid. You used to be staff..lol So what youre saying, this rule doesnt apply to CP? Or is it that you just didnt know this rule existed, makes me wonder how many false warns and bans you gave out..

I made a sit on a guy for coming into my base and arresting me without getting a warrant. His reason for entering was the fact that i made a 911 call saying i will execute the CP unless they pay the ransom. Jewann claimed that there are instances where Cp can raid without a warrant. What are these instances? I see nothing in MOTD regarding this other than that its Fail Rp for a CP to raid a base without a warrant.

not a whole lot you can do tbh, if youre limited via ram youre SOL, also OBS doenst even use that much ram,like 300-400 MB but it really cranks on your cpu tho. You can tryyyyyy messing with pagefile settings but i dont think itll do much.

crying about small model while using a small model lmao But yea pizzatime is right, we were testing the model last night the hitbox goes almost over the ears, making it the basically the same size as all the other anime models. plus you only spawn with 24 health, this model shouldn't be a cop? but its ok for models just like this to run around killing people and kidnapping?

that has nothing to do with whats in question here, its PVP with guns between players in a base raid. It should be complete level playing field.

everyone knows those setups where you have a tiny slit in a wall to defend your base from, especially the ones forcing you to crouch. Im just now realizing they give the person defending a base raid an unfair advantage. As per my screenshots below you can clearly see that the person raiding the base cannot headshot me or anyone else holding this position, while the person raiding can very easily be shot anywhere on his fragile little body.
