The reason I was doing this earlier was because people were hindering my rp experience by breaking rules blatantly and It took 5 @'s to finally get a report with a mod, Umbak Klak, who told me he was also busy with RP at the time(helping missnya he said, i think). So, earlier this afternoon why would I not voteban people who were rdming and nlring, raiding with building signs etc. A 30 minute ban would suffice vs a longer one if deemed so by a mod in a sit(not like any were taking anyways). Xior told me he'd talk to Walter about about me votebanning with staff on, and then he told me "Walter said (either to ban you or let him know, i don't remember which one) if you voteban someone again,oringe". He then let me know he was resigning from mayor and would be able to take sits after that. So I did not use the votes anymore. Just around 8-9pm tonight, the server crashed, and when I rejoined, I did not notice any staff on except for Grapewarrior (whom was standing in spawn at the time i saw him, I don't know if he was stepping away from his computer or anything) And there was a player massrdming at the townsquare. I quickly votebanned him after he killed me, someone standing next to me and another user standing next to the cc editor(as a gun dealer,btw) okay, let me voteban him, I didn't do !staff first, and it was LITERALLY A 1000000% VALID REASON TO VOTEBAN HIM. HE ENDED UP GETTING BANNED ANYWAYS. Xior brought me to a sit and said, "Oringe, i warned you earlier about votebanning with staff on. I'll have to talk to grape and umbak."***BTW as im gathering evidence i noticed in chat that Xior also typed "and walter" meaning he was going to speak wit walter,grape and umbak about me votebanning ,which from my perspective was the right thing to do)http://prntscr.com/jcl4qg http://prntscr.com/jcl51g .... umbak stopped the vote. I !p'd both grape and umbak, explaining that if xior requested punishment not to deem it worthy of my offense to the gods, as I votebanned a guy who was literally massrdming. Umbak tells me in ooc that it's fine, so im relieved of the stress of being punished for validly votebanning somebody (http://prntscr.com/jcl3jd)) .I says to him, i says, I didn't know staff were on i didnt do !staff. And i continue to point out that the guy was literally mass rdming at the fountain, a completely valid reason to voteban, when I didn't notice any staff were online except for (at the time) an afk grapewarrior. Xior returned me, and then 5 minutes later and brought me back to the sit area, saying Walter said give me a 24h ban. Why should you be unbanned?: my votebans were not hurting anybody except poopy rule breakers and by votebanning them i felt was the only choice because it took me typing @ 5 times and sending a report in order to get a sit because all mods were busy with RP situations , it seems. I votebanned a guy after being warned not to while staff online, because he was literally mass rdming, which I did not do !staff and felt like it was an appropriate action since from my perspective no staff were online. Earlier in the afternoon, the first time I was warned about voting, was when no sits were being taken and Xior told me that he was resigning from mayor and would be able to take sits,which after that point I stopped voting rulebreakers. Who banned you? Xior (after being told by walter. Did walter know it was a mass rdmer that I was votebanning? or is xior just up walters ass because he wants to get out of tmod, so he didn't include the whole story?) If the server just had crashed and he thought everyone was loading in or something whats the big deal that he votebanned when someone was mass rdming. I agree with jawson in the pics. Later, you failed to call any form of sit and then started a voteban. which I did not do !staff and felt like it was an appropriate action since from my perspective no staff were online I did not do !staff from my perspective no staff were online Why aren't you including the whole story? I don't think i voted more than 2 people, around the time Xior told me to stop, and then he let me know he wouldnt be mayor anymore so he could take sits more often, and I did not vote anyone else until around 9pm when someone started mass rdming( the voteban I was banned for) , what kind of shit is Xior telling you I'm doing? I don't think i called 5 fucking votes, if I had I probably would've been punished by one of the mods on the spot. Axiyum,umbak, and i think speeedy(?) may have been on at the time, so im sure if I called 5 votes without making a single sit I would've been brought into a sit and warned (which didnt happen) and around 9pm, the time I was banned for voting a >masrdmer< I only saw the mod grapewarrior online, and i thought he was afk. I called and vote and umbak stopped it, i realized mods were online, and then Xior brought me into a sit saying " I warned you earlir joos, ill have to talk to grape, umbak and walter" to which i said i didnt know there were staff online, pls no" and pointed out that i votebanned a guy who was literally mass rdming and got banned anyways. What whole story are you looking for here, Walter? I did not notice any other staff online, some guy was mass rdming and i called a vote. And how did I call 5 votebans earlier the afternoon and no mods do anything about it, if Xior was telling you I votebanned 5 people without calling a sit, I'm sure I would've been !warn'd or !kick'd by one of the higher up mods that were currently on the server. It's just pretty obvious I don't deserve a ban for voting a mass rdmer, and like Umbak mentioned if there WERE other staff online, which i had failed to notice, their attention would've been brought to the event.
