so here is the story:

i got raided by piklas, he appreantly took everything from my base "at least 8 printers and 2 proc" and he somehow moved everything, with 1 pickup box, i reported him for maybe exploiting a bug, but logs were kinda bugged so no evidence,

i tried to confrent him about it. he told me it's a trick, so me being myself with low iq, i thought it wasn't a bug, rather a trick which isnt a bug, i believed it, but appearently it was a fake bug that got me reported for trying to exploit it, and i know buying exploits it's against the rules and most likeley going to be hated by hte community, but i really never intended to do any harm to the community or myself, i just got fooled by his talk and his "trick", i know that was a dumb move but i can't blame myself more then my smartness,

He was "investigating" an exploit he *thought* Piklas was doing. Let me stress: Piklas was NOT exploiting. Jacket got raided by Piklas and he thought Piklas carried everything in 1 trip, which would've been too much for 1 pickup box. Jacket asked Piklas to show him the exploit. Jacket ended up paying Piklas $500k for info on the "exploit". Money was given back during the sit, but Jacket here was banned for trying to buy it and use it. Jacket had contacted me before saying he was going to investigate what Piklas was doing but never reported back to me. 

 

I'm going to wait for others to reply before deciding on a lowered punishment.

edit2: Jacket never reported back to me on what Piklas was doing or the exploit. He could have stopped at pretty much any point and reported it and a sit would've been made. Instead he attempted to buy it off him...

Basically I was contacted by the guy after being raided about an exploit he thought existed and then offered to buy it so i sent a sit and we decided i would give a fake method and see if he reported it, attempted to do it or anything. After a long while of waiting since I didn't want the guy being false banned and he was messaging me alot about how to do it we got into the final sit where i gave back the money paid for the false exploit and he basically confessed trying to exploit and tried to rationalize  it because i used the term "trick" once which I think showed the 2 moderators present that he didn't have an intention to report something that he contacted me about and himself said was an exploit.

You wanted to buy his "trick" but claim you wouldn't do this to hurt yourself or the community? Now I'm confused. You clearly had full intentions of using this "trick", because you were willing to buy it. You also failed to report back to Umbak which makes this look that much worse on yourself. I'm failing to see how you deserve to be unbanned.

First of all: Why in all heck would you want a exploit? That’s just asking to get permanently banned.

Second of all: What is your reason of needing one? You’re going to use it when no staff are online or something?
