Monoxide Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Honestly, since the TLOZ CDI games are widely considered illegitimate due to them not being on a Nintendo console, those hardly count as Zelda games, just like the Mario CDI games aren't considered Mario games. That being said, I would have to put both spirit tracks and phantom hourglass on the same level of shit in regards to quality tloz games. The controls were clunky as they possibly could be, the plot definitely did not fit into the canon of the series, and the new mechanics felt gimmicky and forced. Not to mention the gameplay itself felt like another subpar DS game, unlike a few of its successors, which seemed to have quality gameplay, and fewer gimmicks. Also true spirit tracks was pure cancer with the flute shit you could perfectly play the notes right and 96% of the time it would say it was wrong.
