Speedy
Your Steam Name: Possibly Speedy Your ingame name:Tommy Ravioli Your Steam Profile/SteamID: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198094395600/ Who are you reporting? (Their name and profile): Walter The Assualter http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198025604580 Reasons why you are reporting: Alright so I was called into a sit by a fellow named mojo924, and it was a clear case of rdm from Walter the Assaulter, but nothing could be done because there were no admins on (he is a mod), hence the report. Mojo was mugging walter and then mojo died to a hitman, when coming out of spawn walter shoots mojo on sight. When mojo calls a sit to get the situation clarified and settled walter declines his sit. Walter is a good staff member (from my one day of tmod's notice) and this is only a small case of rdm, but he should not get away with it just because he is a staff member. Evidence: https://imgur.com/a/tIe42 Here we see the original mugging take place. https://imgur.com/a/xO9YD This is where mojo was assassinated. https://imgur.com/a/CUmaf Here we see the hitman completing his hit on mojo. https://imgur.com/a/eHwsm Right above this we see mojo being killed by walter about 10 seconds later when he leaves spawn. https://imgur.com/a/97YNZ This is where walter killed mojo as soon as he exited spawn I am not doing this because I have dislike towards Walter, I think hes pretty cool. This is mostly because he denied the guys sit and didn't explain why he killed mojo.

Ghost
I told you I didn't know you died because I lost sight of you after you ran towards the spawn tunnel. I turned around, took cover, and went to grab a different gun. When I turned back around, I saw you running out of the spawn tunnel so I shot you. I explained this to you during the sit. You would not answer my question as to how I could know you died if you ran off. I attempted to reach a conclusion you would find acceptable for this situation, but you would only keep mic spamming about how shit and bad I am and how I'm going to get banned and demoted and refused to let me talk. I denied your sit with a copy of the mug log because, again, I did not know that you died. I also explained this during the sit and tried to reach a conclusion you would find acceptable but, again, you would only keep micspamming about how shit and bad I am and how I'm going to get banned and demoted. I wanted to accept a suitable punishment (which would have been a warn according to guidelines), but the moderator overseeing the sit refused to punish me and told the user to take it to the forums. Staff members involved/witnesses: Tommy, trial moderator. Munkir, moderator. My conclusion and argument: One count of RDM, committed for false/mistaken RP reasons, by Walter the Assaulter. Recommended punishments: None, or warn for RDM, or up to 24 hour ban in accordance with the punishment guidelines as decided by administrative staff. Ghost
My final verdict after hearing Walters side is 1+ for a stern talking too. (Talking to him about being more aware of his surroundings aswell to keep a eye on kill feed to see if this player died)
Speedy
My final verdict after hearing Walters side is 1+ for a stern talking too. (Talking to him about being more aware of his surroundings aswell to keep a eye on kill feed to see if this player died) Yeah I dont have a say in the punishment but he doesent need to be banned for 10240123051 years and demoted, it was one case of rdm, you guys decide on punishment I like walter. Tass
I understand what Walter's side is coming from not knowing you died. I catch myself not looking at the kill feed when I'm in a shootout. I would say +1 for just a reminder/talk about like be a little be more understanding and not just decline the sit maybe take them and hear their side of the story and then give yours. But I don't think (in this case of what happened) that walter should have any harsh punishment.
Walter the Assaulter
Talking to him about being more aware of his surroundings aswell to keep a eye on kill feed to see if this player died Yes I should've been more aware, but the main point is that I declined his sit legitimate sit for a false reason because I did not realize what happened and he was RDM'd because I did not realize what happened. He didn't say anything about dying in his sit so the possibility didn't even cross my mind. I should've personally talked to him or allowed another staff member to take the sit. he doesent need to be banned for 10240123051 years and demoted I feel like a ban of that length would be basically a demotion. be a little be more understanding and not just decline the sit maybe take them and hear their side of the story and then give yours Agree. Overall, I 100% did RDM him. This would have been handled in a sit but the other moderator did not feel comfortable issuing a punishment to me, which is understandable. See my post on the other thread (https://titsrp.com/showthread.php?tid=7179) or just look at President's post on this thread for my full explanation and comments. 1-800-Suicide
So it looks like the RDM is settled and Walter has admitted to it being a mistake, my opinion is that Walter gets maybe a warn for the RDM since it was accidental. However if its true that you were micspamming and spamming about demotions and bans while Walter is trying to resolve the issue its not a surprise you didn't come to a conclusion and get past the issue. The staff member could even have banned you for doing so. A player with Constant banter to a staff member while they are trying to resolve their issue should result in a 6 hour - 3 day ban immediately https://titsrp.com/showthread.php?tid=2055
TitsRP
Something like this is common. Sometimes you don't know what happened and it results in someone indirectly breaking the rules which sucks for both people. The issue comes when this is a moderator and a veteran moderator at best. It's one thing to accidentally rdm a guy and apologize immediately, it's another to rdm him because you didn't know he died and then refuse to hear his side of the story. I get it. Sometimes you feel like you're 100% correct and have all of the right to punish someone / ignore their request for help because you know you're in the right. That should really only ever be done if the issue was settled before or you witnessed it with your own eyes. I think in a situation like this, the best thing to do is admit that you fucked up and compensate the player for what they lost, that way, you show them you still have integrity when it comes to realizing your own faults. It makes them happy, it makes you happy and then you go on your own way. That is where it should end. Except even after getting two other staff members involved, you never seemed to admit you were in the wrong until this thread where people told you that you were which kinda worries me. People fuck up, it happens. You may of taken it a bit too far though. Evaluate every situation from all angles and don't be afraid to admit that you were in the wrong. If you don't learn from your mistakes then you will just keep repeating them. As for a punishment, maybe I will keep track of strikes or something. Walter is a good guy but without some form of consequences, any other staff member would look and see "Walter didn't get punished for this, why did I?". So sure, Walter now has 1 / 3 strikes
