Eight Sad Faces Posted June 20, 2017 Author Share Posted June 20, 2017 Yelling out the PD code as a cop in OOC could be considered meta since you used OOC instead of advert. OOC is meant for, obviously, out-of-character chat and advert is meant for RP chat. You aren't allowed to use OOC or anything you see in OOC for RP. While it's really a small thing to punish for (in most instances I just tell people to advert their last statement to make it legit), there'd be no reason to not tack it on in addition to other things you've (supposedly) done wrong. I doubt it effected your ban that much, it's not even mentioned in our punishment guidelines. Not making a judgment, I'm answering why it'd be considered meta. If you were returned, the sit is over. 100% done with. If you were banned in regards to the sit you were returned from and the return was not an accident, there's abuse on the loose. I was indeed returned, he then warned me for ARDM in a sit, then I figured ehh Im done, kinda salty so lets give out a fake pd code. Then I disconnect, I come back to a 5 day ban. To add on, I was gone from the sit for a good 3-4 mins before I disconnected. The code was 100% fake? Because when people give out codes for stuff like that i 100% ALWAYS go to the keypad to check to see if its just a joke or not. Something everyone should do if they are gonna do anything about it. I would hope that you would check, and, though it was not real, even if it was the only thing wrong with what I did was what chat I put it in. Not a complete unban but it's still gonna be some punishment. You can't give out ANY PD info if you're a cop if it's meant to be secret (Just like the PD code). You cannot shoot in a sit, not to mention you did hit someone and attempted RDM or RDM in a sit is still a bannable offense. Then you left right after you said the PD password which seemed like it was LTAP. If you don't want to be banned, don't do shit like that or you'll be banned. Simple as that. Right before this, I had adverted "STAFF CAN I DISCONNECT" , to which as shown here kalysta replied not if your in a sit, as I was NOT in a sit I disconnected.
