Well I posted the code for the PD in the Anonymous chat, and I was banned for 24 hours for metagaming. From what I understand, metagaming is when you use information obtained from a non-rp resource to do something RP wise.

The group chat which the mayor used is within RP, and as far as I know, the Anonymous chat is also within RP, so I don't understand how this could possibly be considered metagaming. Nothing was used outside RP. We were trying to kill the mayor because nobody liked him, so we gave out the code in anonymous.

 

Also, even if this was really metagaming (which I clearly established that it isn't), I think a verbal warning would be more than enough of a punishment for this. People get banned for mass rdm on this server for like 12 hours. Cynthia was helping the mayor defend the PD, so I think he was just mad about the fact that he had to deal with changing the keypad code, so he banned me for 24 hours.

I was actually playing CP for a pretty long time, and I didn't switch for the intent of getting the code.

 

Regardless, I never noticed the "you can't be corrupt" rule, so I guess at this point I'm just asking to have the time reduced.

Honestly, since you broke a big rule. You are not going to be unbanned.

 

I was on during the time and I will agree with the rest of the staff team.  You literally went CP and once you got the code, you switched your job.  Since you did switch your job AND told everyone the code through anon, this ban is 100% legit.

 

[Edit]: You were the mayor's assassin when you got banned.  Still a legit ban, since you are announcing the information through Anon.
