gmodplayer Posted August 17 Share Posted August 17 (edited) Your In-Game Name: gmodplayer Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:447101107 Who are you reporting?: STEAM_0:0:465719771 shit shart Why are you reporting this player?: they are loopholing cop rules by sitting in the district waiting for a hostile action to occur. they are using this loophole to have a counter raiding service (as seen in evidence) rules to refer to: you cannot counter/attack a player conducting an active raid unless one of the following apply: you are the police (you must attempt an arrest prior to instakilling, unless they are actively shooting/attacking you or another player) so if a cop is countering a raid and deliberately skips any arrest attempt, instead just waiting for the raiders to do something hostile so they can go straight to lethal force, that is deliberately breaking that rule also refer to the general cop rule: “always try to arrest players instead of gunning them down to promote a better rp experience. it is not 100% necessary but use your best judgement when deciding to kill or arrest a criminal.” You cannot assist criminals or commit crimes (ignoring a crime in order to obstruct justice or kill bait is fail rp) he also legit had a service to just go and kill anyone who was raiding your base if you pm'd him, likely by abusing the same loophole. he also admitted to this himself in a sit. in a sit, the staff member slippers refused to investigate any wrong doing by shit shart to which i learned he has been talked to. Do you have evidence related to this incident?: Yes Relevant Info: he sniped me at 28 seconds which means the c4 could not have exploded, he also came prior to its placement in a no collided prop that you have to enter to even see inside of. aswell as that he was obviously in the district prior to the explosion yet he chose to wait for a "justifiable kill". Also, the rules state the criteria for an immediate kos counter raid is this: "You are the police (you must attempt an arrest prior to instakilling, unless they are actively shooting/attacking you or another player). I’d assume Shit had disregarded the entire pd rule, arrest > killing, considering (from clip #1) it appears he was actively lying in wait for something to happen and attacked without any attempt at cuffing. If @Shit Shartcould provide a clip from the same time as your first clip, it could help build a defense for him possibly seeing you place the c4. Not to mention, I saw the comments you screenshotted as they occurred, of Shit Shart adverting for people to contact him or other PD members when they were being raided so they could “protect them” (counter). Not sure if that’s the exact quote but it does the job. Combined with the plethora of clips you provided, it looks like a deliberate attempt to use a loophole as pd. With all of that considered, I’ll have to vote +1 for action taken. “Anti-Raid Day” doesn’t necessitate loopholing. For the reason well if he defends the raider, Why doesnt he give a warrant for the bases where you can obviously hear illegal ents. Clip 1 is also failrp, he should attempt to arrest you first. It also seems he is in the tunnel and out of the district which also is not allowed. Clip 2. If he is killing all these raiders and not trying to cuff them first that is failrp for each time it happened. Clip 3. At the end he says I dont have to cuff you, which im assuming he was talking about he doesnt have to try to cuff you first when ur raiding. Which is not true as stated above. This rule was added several months ago by the great @Blacnova Imgur after 3 clip links. Again seems weird to me I feel like this shouldnt be allowed if youre not going to warrant the base with obvious ents. So at that point it seems you guys are friends and just counter raiding to help defend the base. Clip 5 sit. Please try to be more respectful sits next time but I understand the frustration. Slippers could have taken the time to maybe check pms of Shit Shart and see if there was anything going on behind the scenes of the counter raiding. This would have helped decide if something fishy is going in. This sit sure was handled very weird. Clip 6 sit. Granted you RRDM'd, but you should not have been killed in the first place and this is purely out of spite. The raid action you performed should have been an arrest. For anyone wondering it is allowed to tell people to contact PD if they're being raided. You did RRDM but in the end we all make mistakes and let anger take over the wheel. You should not have been banned and thats what i think. I see this as FailRP, it would be different if he was in the disctrict that you were at the time and it was a one off instance however this was being adverted as essentially a counter raid service.
