Religious Talk being too political for the game *Drama, new rule, debate*

When you go down this road you end up getting rid if your player base. The server is 13+ because that is Facepunch ToS. 

 

If we make it 18+ we can't verify every single players age other than ask them and hope its the truth. If you find issue with the topics, you can mute players, hide chat box or simply not play. 

 

People can discuss whatever they like as long as it doesn't become overly toxic, you are playing a Gmod DarkRP server called 'TitsRP' by the way.

genuinely thats the only argument ive gotten. and sadly why is it when you play "gmod darp rp titsrp" it has to be that way. i mean is it so bad having half the players cut off from the game, especially when the server chat sounds like a classic xbox360 cod lobby. im bringing this issue up because it doesnt have to be that way. facepunches TOS was for the singleplayer, people under the age of 13 cant handle the gore, they put the accountability on the server owners because at the time gmod servers werent this badly toxic. and isnt "titsrp" called that because the map is called rp_downtown_tits because of a typo by the original map creature writing tts.

The easiest solution to your problem is to create and develop your own server, then implement your mindset to it. Facepunch ToS covers single player and multi-player, it's for the game as a whole.

At the end of the day if parents don't somewhat moderate what their children play it is not up to everyone else. Everyone has fun in a different way, if you see this much issue ( which sounds like you definitely won't like at least 70% of the playerbase) with the server as a whole you can do what I mentioned in this reply and the last, and/or talk to Rubik.

im not trying to complain about the server. the whole "if you dont like this country than why dont you move out of it" argument doesnt work because im actively trying to fix a current issue ive noticed by bringing it up to other players in the forums. i want to improve the server, if i didnt really like this server then i wouldnt be making this forum post to discuss the current issues in the server. i play in this server just as much as everybody else. and its way to expensive to run my own server. why would i go and create my own server if i could just suggest a implication of a rule or better the original rules. and yes if children arent being moderated by their parents is not our problem or your problem as a moderator, but what other players are doing around the children is, especially when you actively acknowledge their existence in the server and continue to allow degratory statements in game or ooc.

saying its up to the parents to moderate is like saying why need to remove speed limit signs in roads because the parents should have taught the kids how to drive better. you dont have to be the parent to children you just need better rules and to implement, saying "we cant tell who is old enough to play the server we would have to ask" its the same agreement with enforcing the TOS. how do you know if a player is below or above the age of 13.  this isnt just  a game, its a community that has a experience for everyone, if your allowing toxic behavior and saying "its the parents fault" hurts the greater of the community. i just dont want to ignore the problem and instead look for the solution for the issue.

im a member of the titsrp community, ive been playing for several years, i have a depth knowledge of the server and the average gmod player psychology, instead of playing regularly i play to understand the community a little bit more for my study of the average internet gamer and how they got to be so toxic. this community is such a cool and niche community and its problably the reason why ive been apart of it for so long.
