Semi-recent ptox ban

I will say, the whole "stop sucking mods dick" isnt exactly a pedophilia claim either. People make that statement regularly with no actual sexual intent, its more-so a saying for genuinely any game that has moderators, I hear it on any given day I play the server and people dont assume a minor playing gmod would take it in the sense of an actual sexual act over just the basic favoritism claims. With that said, TECHNICALLY, the punishment is still applicable. You have 0 warns for any PTOX violation in your entire time playing on the server which is my problem with the punishment. I think its fitting to change to a warn since thats always been my baseline unless it was egregious PTOX, but the issue is changing the ban would essentially be a reban to you, so we're at the point where its removing the ban or keeping it. I know multiple people who got put into tough spots just from the original banning staff member being a minor and back then things got blown out of the water regularly over the age issue. Once/If the logs come through i'll vote, but also understand just having the ban on your account isn't a scarlet letter, you can explain it away and most people will understand. I hope these logs can come through and support you so we can get that changed, having solid proof will be your best chance

After speaking with Vex, seeing his convo with hoodwink i might have a solution for this all.

We approve your appeal with the caviat of this, we add a note onto your account and the next ptox ban under the same guise will have extended punishments.

The ONLY reason I suggest this is due to lack of logs, evidence, or recollection from any involved. This adds a sort of medium ground and allows us as staff to still keep in check what may or may not have happened. Vex and I will open up a decision making thread in discord and see how the team feels as a whole.

That compromise seems reasonable. Again, thank  yall for helping to figure this out, and going the extra mile to reach a solution despite the lack of producible evidence. I’ll be waiting on your final decision.

We've since made it so that saying something like that isn't going to get you a pedo accusation warn/ban. I am +1 for removing this, people like Spys and Sitto heavily abused this rule to get people punished for fun.
