I understand why I was banned, I was in the casino using a macro to press E on the slot machine. I’m new to the server and was honestly just trying to find ways to make money. I had seen other people doing it and was told by multiple players to do it and its allowed, so I thought it was okay, even though I should have checked the rules myself or asked staff first.
I’m not trying to deny what happened. I did use the macro, and I understand now why that counts as exploiting and gives an unfair advantage. Being new isn’t an excuse, but I hope it explains why I made that mistake. I’m really sorry for doing it, I enjoy playing on the server and would really appreciate a second chance or even a reduced ban. If I’m allowed back, I won’t use macros or anything like it again, and I’ll ask staff if I’m unsure about something instead of just going off what other players say.

Ill forward this to Tali, however any macros and AFK bypass methods/exploits are against the rules. Don't rely on other people on whether or not somethings allowed, ask staff if you're unsure or double check rules. 

 

You have a pretty clean slate, I'm +1 for unban and change to a warn.

You are a new player, but I feel that using a macro in any game is usually not allowed. I would be fine with a reduction to one or two months, but -1  on a full unban

Since you took the time to appeal and fully admitted to it, I'm not opposed to reducing this down to a 1 month ban. Also never do something just because you see someone else doing it. Another player was doing the same thing right beside you and received the same ban.

 

I think reducing it down to 1mo is more than fair since you fully admitted to it. I would like to see what others think on this matter before I accept this and reduce it. +1 for reduction to 1mo

I’m leaning towards a +1 to unban/reduction to warn,  but I am concerned about the precedent that accepting this ‘ignorance plea’ would set for appeals involving macros. 

You do seem genuinely remorseful and like you just fell victim to someone else’s bad advice, but part of it is a common sense thing. I don’t think using macros is allowed in virtually any online game.

Honestly at least you admitted to it and the staff member themselves are willing to drop it to 1 month. So I would be willing to as well. +1 from me.

I can see you got yourself into trouble by copying other exploiters, and you had no idea if it was a form of exploiting.

So i would go 1+ for ban reduction 1-2 mo.

I like that you admitted to it and took the time to make an appeal that shows character.

However you did have to accept the rules when joining the server, I know no one reads them lol but it's gets you into situations as such. 

-1 for unban / reduction.

I'm sorry and I do feel remorse with a -1 however i feel as if using any internal or external macros is a obvious rule break and you probably knew in one way or the other.

While you are a relatively new player, you currently have 42mil, meaning you likely were generating a decent amount of money using this method. As Madx said, you definitely knew on some level that what you were doing was wrong at the time. We will reduce the ban to a month this time given you admitted what you were doing, but please be more proactive and ask staff when you are unsure of something that probably shouldn’t be allowed.
