That is why the mod was asking for your age.. he was not being weird. Because we don't have any other way to accurately verify your age besides your word or voice chat, the moderator did you a solid by asking you what your age was before jumping to conclusions. If you told him you were 12 you're cooked since we don't have any other way to verify your age. tali Posted March 25 Share Posted March 25 Hi! Banning staff member here, as stated by Rubik, per Facepunch TOS you have to be at least 13 years old to play Garry's Mod. I asked you how old you were, and as you can see from the Console logs above, you stated you were 12. Only after telling you about the TOS and that you'd be banned for 1 year ( Or the chance I gave you to give me your birth month so It would only be so many months ), you finally claimed to be 14. I think it's pretty clear that you are under the age of 13. I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to be weird, but I am just trying to follow TOS. When you're playing a social rp game and people are reporting you for being underage, its within your best interest to be honest with mods and say your age. If you are underage then oh well, but if ur over 13 then whats the big deal?
