Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I was AFK and I came back to a ban. I didnt have a sit I just started playing Garys mod for the first time and I got a ban for mass killing. I am not sure how or why that is a reason to get banned when people are killing all the time. Who warned/banned you? If you check our punishment guidelines you would see that mrdm defaults to a 1w ban. There is no targeting to do, if we get a report. Check logs and see that you killed 3+ people it is against the rules. I would suggest when joining a server you read the rules or atheist skim through them to prevent such situations from happening, it would also tell you how to !unstuck to prevent having to kill your friends to gain suspicion during a report. Now i understand your frustration and understand that you're a new player and for that reason only I'll be +1 for reduction to 3d ban. Posted February 18 Share Posted February 18 Being as how you do not have any priors for mass rdm I'm fine with either an unban or a reduction to 3d, but you need to keep in mind a couple things here: 1. As others have stated 3 kills is the minimum requirement to be banned for mass rdm 2. People can mass rdm a million people, but until they get reported we are not allowed to intervene, unless they kill us or something. Using other people as an example of worse things going on just doesn't work like that. In the end you got reported, which is what led to your current situation. I would suggest if someone ever gives you permission to kill them, to either clip them saying it, or have them say it in chat. This is a great way to have a solid defense in your favor. I lean more on an unban due to your low playtime, but your steam profile is private, so I'm skeptical on your claim of only having gmod for 2 hours, especially when you had 5 hours of playtime in the server. You could be potentially lying and actually have 10 thousand hours in the game, but I'm willing to take your word for it. Next time don't kill a few random people without valid reason, even if others are doing it and not getting in trouble for it, dont risk it.
