Do you really think for those 40 minutes I was just waiting around for him to fuck up? I obviously still interacted with other people and did many other things, including becoming mayor and other PD positions. Calling this "harassment" is an insanely far fetched allegation. Just because he's upset doesn't mean that he's invincible from anything that I do from that point into the future, and that the minute I retaliate against him (warrant him for kidnapping someone) I should be banned.

 

What should have been a good amount of time for me to wait, if you really think this is harassment? Because the staff member above told me 30 minutes.

Given what I've been told about your previous interactions with this player, I could totally see you just sitting there waiting for something to happen. Why else would you put a camera that perfectly faces his base? I would like to see more logs from Steve about this supposed kidnapping. If he did actually kidnap then my answer may change. But given the prior warnings about staying away from him, I am a -1

It didn't perfectly face his base, it faced the front of the PD. The kidnapping was real, Steve and the admin who did the ban already admit to this.

After looking at the situation, I agree that prior staff notes, repeated sits, and clear instructions to disengage were appropriately considered, and the continued focus on the other player after being told to leave them alone supports the conclusion that the behavior was not de-escalating. Due to the history and failure to meaningfully separate, my vote will be, 

-1 for appeal

Hopefully when you get back there will be no further issues, but until then Happy new year!

Given the information provided from Steve & viewing your profile, i believe the ban is warranted. Player tox/harassment is something that we take seriously here, everyone should be able to enjoy playing on the server. 

 

After viewing the images from Steve it appears that you continued to interact with the player after being instructed by staff to disengage.

 

Regardless of the situation, a staff member had given you instruction, and via the MOTD: DO listen to staff. Even if something isn't explicitly mentioned in the MOTD, does not mean it's okay

After reviewing everything, there were multiple verbal warnings from staff to leave the player alone, and that clearly didn’t happen. Several staff members were involved and saw ongoing behavior that crossed into harassment.

Thank you staff geniuses for your input regarding this matter, not a single one of you have explained how fucking around for 40 minutes and then warranting someone for kidnapping someone is harassment. If I didn't arrest or warrant him that's failRP by the way.
