Mr. Sir Zapsworth
Your In-Game Name: Blue Shirt Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:444801221 Who are you reporting?: a ak47 STEAM_0:1:954461384, terry STEAM_0:0:200680242, Grand Rabbi Malachi Rabinowitz STEAM_0:0:31811521; Dr Kort Von Kobeanington XII STEAM_0:1:204088874 Why are you reporting this player?: Invalid mega base + state of moderators Do you have evidence related to this incident?: No This clip is going to comprise of different pieces that ill talk about, but for the most part its all in there. Clip: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/ltXcGDuxrjPRjXTbw?invite=cr-MSwycHgsNDY5NjM0NTkx&v=300 The start of the clip is the sit, but i want to talk about the base first (timestamp, 4:45) 1. Its not clearly labeled as a base with a clear entry and pathway through. 2. if you look at the end of the clip where i die, they have prop stacked materials, no collided that you can shoot through, against the rules. 3. ITS IN A FUCKING TUNNEL!!!!! ITS not even in the district and its on the street. I keep getting told this is mega basing rules, but the only class allowed to build on the street is hobos (sometimes a sidewalk is okay if its in front of claimed doors) 4. For them to even megabase in a district, they have to claim the front doors of every base, I claimed the base closest to the entrance of the tunnel in intustrial. Your group must own at least the front door of every house to mega-base in that area. Assuming basing rules apply, while it might not. They don't have anyone on any sort of door, no one know how many people are in the base, who is allowed to defend, or what the purpose of the base even is "ex: public tunnel build" which people do often. Now I want to talk about the sit. I want to preface this as not a individual report for kert, who took the sit, but just the idea of mods as a whole and the processes behind them. Regardless if people basing there are in the right or wrong, don't you think actions like this bring down the server as a whole? From my experience of "hivemind" the goal is to do things boarding the rules or even breaking the rules, in the hope of retaliation to get the other party banned. For a new player joining the server trying to play the game, being put into that type of scenario, to me makes it look that thats how the server should be played. You build stupid shit/prop minge, you go rdm in tunnels cause they did it, or you just troll other people cause you have nothing better to do. Aka a server were people just run around, terrorizing people. Thats the RP. Terror. I was so curious when I started why there was so much hate speech/trolling. ITS CAUSE YOU ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN AND JUSTIFY IT BY THE RULES THAT ARE CURRENT. If this is genuinely allowed fucking CHANGE THE RULES! Its like the hold power over the admins and the state of the game. You make it seem like without them the server falls to shit. Its one thing to play an alien/serial killer and annoy people, but to edge the fuck out of the rules and say its okay is another thing. That leads me to moderation. What is even the goal of moderation? To enforce the rules provided? Is there any way for a mod to input on rule changes? Why hasn't this already been done... All I hear from these experiences is "hivemind hivemind hivemind." Dont really 100% know what that means still, but maybe rules should be implemented to prevent that instead of spending countless hours or reports and informing new players how to play against it. It is literally the purge to new players and retaining people that want to rp. The only other people you have left are the cancerous type who wanna do the same thing, just end up getting banned cause they dont know how to edge as hard as hivemind ig. ORRRRRRRR should the moderators be like "wow, thats not very cool and rp friendly, how can we make this server better." its like what Sanzu once said, done apply to be a moderator if all you care about is free supporter and the suga. To that point I realize that the staff team might decline in members. A solution, make the rules easier to follow and not allow stupid stuff like hivemind activities. Edit: One more point is that I feel there was no effort in-game to even attempt looking at the base. This could be cause someone already made a sit, and the admins deemed it was legal, but I definitely felt dismissed, which led to me taking it to the forums. Thanks for reading, it was a bit of a rant, I also want to clarify that I know that not all of this hold enough to get someone banned nor am I trying to. I am just wanting you to see these things from my experience and the distain I feel for how things are set up. I am also passionate about it cause I enjoy playing on the server and I feel like this degrades the overall experience. Mr. Lahey
Basing Rules, this base violated them: 1- Do not build on the street or sidewalk in a way that limits or restricts the movement of vehicles or players. Flat out this base violates this rule 2 - Do not use rapidly flashing color or strobe lights which may trigger players with epilepsy. This base also violated this rule before just recently being updated, these players knew they broke the rule. Raiding rules, this base violated them: Raid districts are defined by the entrance of each district by the tunnels. The tunnels themselves act as a no man’s land between the districts. This tunnel base is not in a raid district, so its unraidable? This is a loophole, another rule this base breaks. The base cannot exist in no mans land between districts, we have to assign it to a district, so it either needs to be in industrial, or in district 1, which megabases are not allowed in There are no ways around the fact this base breaks these rules, unless there are unwritten rules or exceptions which the staff team applies to side with them. If any rule based arguments are made it seems to fall under a loophole, which again is not allowed 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24019-hivemind-baseadmin-assistance/#findComment-167614 Share on other sites
Joey Skylynx
what they are doing is a kill base, but it flies just under the radar enough where parties involved cannot make a complaint about it. hence why the alien jobs are being used to kiss lock people and reactions are met with the entire party of the tunnel base jumping and killing players that attempt to escape the kiss lock staff are hesitant to touch this shit because its a magnet for staff reports of "but DA RULEZ!" despite how obvious it is that this shit is merely bending them to disrupt the server. 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24019-hivemind-baseadmin-assistance/#findComment-167618 Share on other sites

If you need me to i can show you all my logs of me kidnapping people today. It is 100% a kidnap base not sure what the kissing part you are talking about is. The main times we are killing people is when there is 10 cops outside our base gunning us down 24/7 and breaking nlr for multiple hours. Mr. Lahey
A kill base, kidnap base, regardless, it clearly violates all of the rules I stated with no workaround available. Its blocking the way, limits mobility, is not in a raid district its clearly in a area marked "no mans land" Just now a find the entity event occurred where the entity spawned inside the tunnel, its marked no mans land for a reason. Dont get distracted from the clear violations. Mr. Sir Zapsworth
Yeah, I could care less about the motive behind the base, its the location and the rules that state its not allowed, but then mods saying that it is allowed cause its "mega basing" with no rules that further imply that its allowed to build there. On the flip side, there is no rule that says that normal basing rules dont apply to mega bases. The other thing is you say that this base fly's clear under the radar. How so? Can you be specific instead of just glazing over the points? Mr. Lahey
There is nothing to be cited in "Mega Basing" rules that allow this base, can a staff member please cite the argument? if anything, mega basing rules also further elaborate on the fact the districts are important. Even if we decide a magic rule in Mega Basing exists, we have to apply the Raiding Rules Is a Mega base raid able? Yes, therefore we must follow Raiding Rules, which again clearly state the base cannot exist in no mans land (the tunnels) Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24019-hivemind-baseadmin-assistance/#findComment-167629 Share on other sites

Personally I would not be against changing this but unfortunately in the current ruling it is allowed. I understand you are trying to point out how megabasing in the tunnels headed to district 1 isn't allowed, and I totally agree it shouldn't be allowed, but it is. "No man's land" in this case is just specifying that the tunnels themselves are not districts. 59 minutes ago, Mr. Lahey said: 1- Do not build on the street or sidewalk in a way that limits or restricts the movement of vehicles or players. I would be +1 for adding a ruling saying either district may be entered as needed when raiding a tunnel base - if staff believe that tunnel bases should still be allowed. I agree that what these guys are doing is blatant kill baiting and using the guise of "megabasing and kidnapping" as an excuse to have a kill base. There is nothing positive about this and they are just barely skirting the rules on what's allowed. While this is allowed in the current rulings state, I am +1 for disallowing it. Mr. Lahey
Is anything you just stated actually cited in the rules? Because the mega base rules are very limited, seems like these are unwritten rules or dare I say, not even rules at all, Do you see these rules somewhere else? This stuff needs to be written down if these loopholes exist and are "allowed". If you cant show where in the rules this stuff you are saying is coming from, then with the current rule set, this base is actually in fact not allowed. Here is the entire portion of basing rules: Mega-Basing Rules Mega-bases are prohibited in the following districts: district 1, district 3, district 5, and district 8 (includes the ‘Chill Zone’ but not the outer-most Island). Mega-bases may not take over a large portion of the map (ex: the entire sewer system). You must have at least three members who are part of the same faction (ex: 3 hobos, 3 crips, or 3 aliens) to mega-base unless you're the Hobo Lord. Your group must own at least the front door of every house to mega-base in that area. Mega-bases may not block off any unique NPC (any NPC where there is only one of that type on the map such as harvest buyer or the cereal statue). Each house of a mega-base can have a max of 3 fading doors respectively Edited November 11, 2025 by Mr. Lahey Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/24019-hivemind-baseadmin-assistance/#findComment-167638 Share on other sites

This is the first sentence in Raiding Rules : Raid districts are defined by the entrance of each district by the tunnels. The tunnels themselves act as a no man’s land between the districts. And from what I see, there is no mention of mega bases being magically excluded from this rule anywhere in the entire titsrp rule set, again showing that without including these "unwritten" rules you are referring to, the base is in fact not allowed.
