At first, he said to just /PM him after becoming a cop in like 1 minute (little unfair) and that was it. I didn't do it the first time, so I got fired so I was like ok and waited on my 5 minutes and then PMed him. He then proceeded to /pm weird questions which I anwserd but fully and honestly and well in any RP scenario would have been fine and acceptable, but then he still fired me because I failed his "test" which wasn't in any laws either. It just said in the !laws to PM him within the minute which I did. Also, I just did a vote kick dude because you were firing multiple people who probably didn't even know about the law either. Like come on man I just wanted to play the cop job. (Also, side note, I made 2 admin tickets before making the vote kick and nobody responded from what seemed like a good 15 minute time period so him just firing for in my opinion unjust reasons was valid. Also, I have had sits before where other admins have told me and other players that they have to have good reasons to fire a cop or its fail RP.) (Another thing is in the most professional way bro is I have had no ill will of when I made the vote kick man. I just wanted to chill and play cop legit) the question i pmed was supposed to be answered with "cuffs or stun gun / baton", when i had said timer starts i included it was a competency test, it included the "time limit". its not my job to show cp what the laws are, they can see the laws on their own by holding c. its not my fault u got fired for not pming, u should always look at the laws. The test part I think was just made up out of thin air just to get me fired (which is messed up) Also, I answered and PMed you on every question? I just don't get what you are going at here. And I am not sure you were doing this to any other cops at this point but just to me which is kinda messed up. Can't we just move on from this by now? Like Im sorry if I did false vote kick you, but it was a vote kick and not a vote ban dude. Like it wasn't anything serious, also again I tried it the normal way of getting a admin and waited for a ticket (twice) and nobody responded so I just vote kicked because I think you were false fireing. Votekicking and votebanning are to stop people obviously breaking rules while there are no staff on (think mass RDM/cheating/etc.). Something like false demote/firing is not a votekicking matter. If the punishment from a staff member for the offence in question wouldn't result in a kick or ban, a votekick or voteban is not appropriate. I will respond later with my opinion on the clips and whether it warrants a warn, as I'm currently on mobile, but I'm +1 for a voterestrict on subnautica driver. Blue. Posted July 6, 2025 Share Posted July 6, 2025 Personally I really don't agree with allowing mayors to do tests or require a meeting or something or else they fire cops. It feels like just looking for the quickest way to demote people and really just doesn't feel rp friendly. On paper it might sound ok but I rarely ever see it used for anything other than basically loopholing being able to mass demote the cop force. Not saying that's what happened here but it's happened a lot. I think its cool to test your cops sure - but I don't agree with being able to demote people for not responding to a message within a minute. I understand it's allowed but I just wanted to voice my grievances on that topic. On that note I can kind of understand why subnautica would feel it's unjust. I think it was dumb to go for a votekick though. As slick has put it votekicks and bans are for serious matters. People are getting way too comfortable with votebanning willy nilly.
