In general, some helpful advice would be to avoid SBC cannon usage in public areas! They're prone to accidents! Hello, I don't know if they ever taught you in your moderation training that kill logs isn't something to blindly go off of. Also, if only 1 person is reporting they got rdmed only that sit matters, long standing precedence on the server and also part of common sense moderation. If no one is calling sits no one cares. 1 person called a sit that they were rdmed. I'm not sure if they were actually rdmed or did the thing where they walk into the sbc cannon to call a sit. Jgpapi didn't check any of that and banned me in 1 minute and 42 seconds of bringing me to a sit and literally saying 0 words total. Please explain the situation you deemed it appropriate as a hobo to use an sbc cannon in a crowded area, killing 5 people (with atleast one unwilling participant) And I will absolutely allow someone to correct me for misunderstanding, buuut I'm fairly certain that if a player reports another player for "Mass RDM", the ticket is investigating MRDM. Do you have any evidence that says the ticket was only for RDM? (Oh, and a good way to avoid people allegedly killing themselves on your cannonballs is to not fire them in the first place!) I'm wondering how you conducted your "investigation" in 1 minute and 42 seconds including time to write the ban and saying 0 words in the sit? Could it perhaps have been you looking at kill logs and nothing else then concluding its mass rdm even though only 1 person reported rdm. No it does not matter if a person who got crossfired once said mass rdm and never has, you are not the person to invent new staff policy. I'll copy paste some of the moderation guidelines you didn't read! DO listen to both sides of an admin sit and use logs to your advantage DON’T rush sits, gather all the information and educate/punish. Also don't just take sits to increase your sit count, this isn't a competition. DON’T make up rules in a sit. You should know what the rules are. Breaking these rules or not following them could end in a punishment or demotion. It has literally never been a rule that if 1 person reports they were rdmed and other people were killed that it's mass rdm. If jgpapi wants to invent that rule today i'll make sure to report every single person ever who rdms their friend for fun and make sure they get banned for mass rdm.
