Player Toxicity | Doxing Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? What happened with the player toxicity incident was that my friend received a really harsh punishment for allegedly pasting his base too late. I got quite upset when he was banned for this because it seemed unfair, especially since he had no previous warnings. The situation felt like it was judged in a split-second grey area, with strong opinions on both sides. During a raid, I ended up [mostly] having to face a group of 3-4 players alone while dealing with over 100 raidables, and my remaining teammate was unhelpful, constantly messing with his microphone. The stakes were high, and after we lost the raid, I couldn't handle the antagonism from the group, who made sure to cause as much damage as they could. More importantly, about the Kio incident, I've been banned for 6 months for doxing, but I don’t remember sharing anyone’s private information. What I do recall is butting in on a chat about Canada, and I said "do you live in Ontario?", he says yes. Then, I suggested that he might live in an apartment complex, knowing how crammed Ontario is and then he mentioned what I assume was his exact apartment complex. I'm unsure why he would share that information of himself, and now I'm being blamed for his own mistake, with a lengthy punishment. Who warned/banned you? LeGerbs Posted August 19, 2024 Share Posted August 19, 2024 So instead of using digital tools to dox someone you instead used manipulation to get someone to release their private information to you by using a falsehood of knowing who and where they are.
